Hello.. another question that's been bugging me.. non-related to photography techniques.. but it's the engineer in me that's asking too many questions for minolta/sony rear cap, there's a small lever at the rear cap that will keep the lens shutter open while in storage. which is what the sony/minolta body would do when the lens is mounted. I notice for my tamron lenses (A-mount), their rear cap doesn't keep it open. Which one is better (in long term) for lens maintenance? |
