Hi Peeps,

Recently bought a macro extension tube for my A300 Tammy 90mm F2.8. But when i attached to it, my A300 shows no lens attached and locks the shutter so i cannot take any pics. Can anyone advice me on how to use the extension tube properly?

Thanks!

Dom

The tube has 8 pins? just like Sony lens?

Not very sure about A300..

Is there anything in the menu that you can select like "Release w/o lens - On/Off"?

If all fails, try Manual (M) mode?

no pins means third party mount?

I think very few of the newer A-mount camera support lenses or other mount thru adapter (or in your case tube)

What I meant is how you manage to get it to work. It is good to know so others with A300 knows what to do with the same problem :)
