*Flashing News*Email trigger on Alphadslr forum is now working.

To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

planning to get a UV filter for my kit lens 1855 ( that's a at least right ? =P)

any place to recommend around west side? or just go in any camera shop to buy?

and whats the acceptable price range ?

yep UV filter will protect your lens..

usually i go cathay..
the price depends on the filter brand..
you would probably want to get hoya filter for around $20-$25.. :D

cathay has camera shop? im thinking of getting one for my 50mm f1.8 lens. hahas for me the 18-55 cheap lens dont think i should get one, since the diameter are different

just go to peninsula.
no point buying in regular shop.

buy only Hoya HMC or other at same level.
trust me. not worth it buying anything cheaper

ooo... main purpose is just to protect the lens glass... so i guess a cheap one will do for me =D
