For macro, you need to get close to the object. I thought is normal?

The close up filter does not zoom in.

But it allows you to be able to focus at closer range than without the filter, hence the magnification possible.

Hi crystal shoot , very long time no see you here already , now into Macro shooting ah ?

With those filters onto the 50mm , you will need to 'move' even closer to subject . Does not mean you can bring the subject closer to you .

With all those 3 stacked , you will not get better results compared to 1 piece . I suggest you use only the +10 on the 50mm . To achieved best results with those filters , i would recommend the Achromats +5 x2 pieces stacked or just one +10 . I have not much time to try out the +10 on the 50mm , otherwise i would be most glad to share results with you .

Wanna meet up somewhere to share about Filters on the 50mm ? But have to be a Monday , other than this day , you are most welcome to my working place at OCC Tuesdays to Sundays , 3pm to 5pm !
