Dear Alphadslr members, Alphadslr will be doing up a photo book to showcase its members favorite photos. The book will mainly encompass the best photos submitted by its members that we could call it our own. The team involved (Alphadslr Photo book publication members are listed below) will select the best photos submitted and readers will be able to learn on how the photos were captured. Details of the MO (Mass Order) of the photo book will be out next year. It will be affordable and we hope that each member will keep a copy of our 1st edition at home. Submission requirements All members are entitled to submit any number of photos of any genre taken by an Alpha dSLR (Sony or KM). (For oversea members, we will send the book to you with additional postal charges) Digital image for submission must meet at least 3000pixel on the long side with EXIF attached. Images are to be email to alphabk1@ymail.com (with an image per email submitted) Images are to be accompanied with a self-portrait of the photographer. Following information are to be included in the email: (Contact number is for us to contact you if we need more information) - Full Name: - Alphadslr Nick: - Contact Number: - Body & Lens Used - Format to follow : SONY A700 with SAL 16-105/F3.5-5.6 - Exposure Info - Format to follow : F3.5, 1/200, ISO 1600 Caption and a description of the photo (any length): - Why and how the photo was taken? - What made it your favorite photo? - Any other thoughts to share? Terms & conditions By sending the photos and the information, each alphadslr member: (If you have any question on the T&C, please post your question in this thread) 1. warrants that he/ she owns the image(s) submitted, that the whole copyright in the image(s) submitted is vested in him/ her, that the image(s) are not defamatory, obscene or offensive to any culture or religion and where the image(s) was commissioned for business or private purposes, the image(s) is submitted with the permission of the person who commissioned it. 2. agrees that www.alphadslr.com may publish their photo image(s) submitted for the use in the photobook and not for any other purpose. In any event that www.alphadslr.com requires the image(s) for the photobook promotion, we will seek the approval of the photographer first. 3. shall grant to www.alphadslr.com a non-exclusive and perpetual license to use the image(s) in the photobook, without www.alphadslr.com having to pay any royalty, fee or charge whatsoever therefore. 4. agrees that the decision made by the www.alphadslr.com team for the photo selection is final. 5. shall grant www.alphadslr.com the right to post process the photos selected if there is a need which www.alphadslr.com will seek the approval of the photographer before publication Dateline of submission: 31st December 2009, 2359hrs Please note that the photos selected for the book will not be announced and any proceeds from the sales of photo book will be use for future alphadslr projects.
