Have been inactive in our forum for a long time. Would like to share my latest escape to the land Down Under - Australia. I only stayed in the state of Victoria. ![]() Bales of Hay I have always wanted to have this photo when I saw similar ones in photography books. The lighting wasn't that good because it was taken at noontime. ![]() Bay of Islands in The Great Ocean Road This is an aerial view via heli. Too bad I can't avoid my lifevest reflection on the glass. It was now or never for me, so I took the best vantage point. ![]() The Twelve Apostles Now there are only 7 1/2 left. Really an awesome sight. It was about 4-5 pm and I waited for some time when the light was behind the rock formations. I even went back to get a twilight shot but it was just darn too cold with the breeze coming from the sea. Thanks for viewing! |

Thanks bros greybear, galdor, and birder. Here's more from Aussie. It was quite a coincidence for the next two fotos to find two different couples with red jackets in two different places. ![]() Otway Fly Treetop Walk ![]() A jetty in Torquay. The area where Billabong and Ripcurl originated. This was taken on the way to 12 apostles. It was raining but luckily when we reached 12 apostles the sky was clear, whew! ![]() Torquay Beach Using a CZ circular polarizer. This was taken on the 2nd day in Torquay area on the way back from overnight stay in the area near the 12 apostles. And more from the Great Ocean Road Area. There is so much to see here, as far as your eyes and lenses can see. ![]() Taken at about 10 am. The morning sun was coming from the right. ![]() Loch Ard Gorge There is a stairway down this gorge. It was just amazing being there. I didn't get much shots here coz there was a filming crew on that day so I only had limited time. Okay that's my short escapade in OZ. I told my brother, who was my trusted driver, that I will be back this year. Edited by DOC, Jan 2 2010, 03:32 PM.
