Yesterday I revisited the Chinese-Japanese Gardens & Jurong Lake and was rewarded by capturing a pelican frolicking with storks, herons & other waders at the wetland left behind after the Jurong lake was drained for construction work All pics were taken with A350, SAL75-300mm handheld & minimal pp. C&C welcome. #1 Arrival of "Big Bird"

#3 The good thing about the draining of the lake is that mud banks were created......somewhat similar to SBWR with many puddles with trapped fishers.

#9 I was easily out-gunned by these two Bros whom I did not get to know their names..... Some 4-5 photographers managed to shoot the pelican. Another 2-3 (including a female) were too overly focused (in my opinion),at some colorful bird building it's nest near a pagoda.... I think the bird would have been stressed by the three just below it's chosen spot for almost an hour.
