(92) Leaves 02
(M42 MOUNT SERIES)

Does anyone know what this plant is? My wife was given it (a cutting) one day a while ago when our youngest son was ill. It was meant to have some medicinal value or something? Well, we threw it into a pot and it's growing strong.

While I'm on this topic, does anyone have any experience in growing herbs here? I've tried basil and mint and not had much experience. If I can grow these two I'd be very happy.

Cheers,
Ben

While on the subject of herbs and basil, I took this shot a while
back of my basil plant while it was still alive. I love the light :)

(96) Sunrise at Seletar Reservoir

The photo isn't anything special - and could have been a lot better had I brought
a wider-angle lens and my tripod - but I LOVE the colours of this sunrise!

Revisiting some earlier shots taken at a dancefloor at a nephew's birthday party.
This one caught my eye as it seems my son is about to jump into the light.
I've converted to B&W and gone for a high-contrast look.

I just LOVE the splash of blue light on this one.
OK, this is the last dancefloor lights photos (for a while, at least).

Yes it was a very beautiful sunrise. My first time heading out to Seletar Reservoir and I just took a chance that it'd be a good one. It was.
But, I learnt a lesson in being prepared that day. I woke a biut later than I planned and, in my rush to leave the house, I left with the wrong lens and somehow didn't have my tripod plate. Anyway, we can't let that sort of thing spoil the occasion!

Cheers, Ben
