The words and the bokeh were added in Photoshop. For the words, I basically found some text that looked something like what I was looking for and merged it into my image file as a seperate layer, then played around with the transparency and colour so it would "match" the purplish light that was in the picture itself.

Wow, Ben, you are super creative. I never thought of that...

wow... the G12 is looking good :)

guess it was hard to position yourself in #121 and #122 as you will either get part of the mountain or the cable car structure. Nevertheless, I love the clouds :)

Thanks! Yeah the G12 did a pretty good job. A big ol' "compact" camera but no complaints. As for the pics, you are right about #121/122, although I actually did want to get the cablecar in those shots. What I really wanted was to get a bit of sunlight through the windows but that wasn't to be. And, yeah, the clouds were really cool. We were at 1,800 metres above sea level at this point. I am not sure if we were above the clouds, or if it was just mist/fog. But, in any case, it was really beautiful!

Cheers,
Ben

Thanks, digi-me! Glad you liked the shots. Though it was incredibly cold, I'd recommend the igloo village to anyone in a heart beat. It is one of those maybe once-in-a-lifetime things that you should try, if only once :)

Cheers,
Ben

I was working 7 years for a HK firm (well, the Singapore office of a HK firm). I left last year and was lucky enough to land a job at a Swiss firm now! And it was pretty good timing in that there were a couple of corporate events happening around Dec and Jan, which I was able to attend. But now back to the humid and hot Singapore weather....
