Contrast and color vibrancy looks stronger than your usual. Nothing right or wrong about this, more of individual preference.

How I take the shot? Simply click the shutter? haha

Well.. nothing really special, we cannot control or ask the bird to pose or stand there or something. It's about seizing the moment with given oppurtunity. I was sitting around waiting for the common kingfisher, the bird was somewhere nearby. I had shot enough of the bird, so was not really interested on it. But when I saw that bird starting to walk towards my direction looking for food, and looking at the background, I just knew I have to be ready to shoot. So I went to my camera (already on tripod), aim and shoot. Also I used manual focus, so I can manually focus on the eyes/beak/head, without having to re-compose. That's about it.

Bird photo looks better when is facing your direction right? I never like backside photo anyway.. :D
