obviously nothing wrong with your a200.............. your interest in the a550 be aware that the a550 has lots of CA if contrast is high. much higher than the a200 IMO. i have to shoot generally at f9 to f11 to reduce the CA. if your "thing" is to shoot BIF's you will have to deal with this problem. i have used the a200 and a550 frequently with the min 200mmf2.8 and 400mmf4.5 and the CA is worst on the a550 compared to the a200. having said that, the a550 is miles ahead of the a200 in most everything else! and really worth the upgrade.....i use it nearly all of the time now. hope this helps. |
