*Flashing News*Email trigger on Alphadslr forum is now working.

To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

obviously nothing wrong with your a200.............. :cheer:

your interest in the a550

be aware that the a550 has lots of CA if contrast is high. much higher than the a200 IMO. i have to shoot generally at f9 to f11 to reduce the CA. if your "thing" is to shoot BIF's you will have to deal with this problem.
i have used the a200 and a550 frequently with the min 200mmf2.8 and 400mmf4.5 and the CA is worst on the a550 compared to the a200.

having said that, the a550 is miles ahead of the a200 in most everything else! and really worth the upgrade.....i use it nearly all of the time now. hope this helps.
