*Flashing News*Email trigger on Alphadslr forum is now working.

To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

Shot these Grey Heron photos on some of my outings near Malim Nawar, Perak, Malaysia with one of my friends. Sorry for the noisy photos as I am still using A100. I am forced to use high ISO most of the time.

Sorry guys. Please forgive me as I am still groping aroud this forum. The above photos were taken with A100 and Sigma 400mm 5.6 lens. Mostly ISO 800 or 400.

anyway :welcome:

as for iso.........you can try iso100 and shoot with tripod. with tripod 400mm can shoot slow moving birds at 1/50-60. bif is another matter.

anyway, keep it coming. i certainly look forward to your posts with the sigma400f5.6.

Try Email trigger on Alphadslr. To setup ...
- In preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and set Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email".
- For tracking individual thread, click on "Track Topic" at bottom page when viewing the thread.

Haha.. tankm.. How about thumbnail picture? don't :knock: me haha..

Run noise reduction. Either from Photoshop or Lightroom. It works to some extend.

Thanks guys for the advices. Will try. Actually I reduced the size a lot already, but have not get use to what is good for this this forum. We usually shoot from a car with bean bags. Dare not get down to shoot with a hide ( I used to do that during my film days). If we are shooting with slow ISO, we cannot get a sharp photo most of the time as the bird are very spooky ( Being shot at with a gun all the time). Keep your comments coming. Will try to upgrade to an Alpha 7XX later.
