To setup the email trigger for your account:
Just go to preference, select "Email & Subscription Settings" and Topic/Forum subscription alert type as "Alerts by email"..

For thread tracking, you need to manually enable it for each thread. Once you're viewing a thread, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Locate the option "Track Topic" which appears to the left of the Board Time.

From the page that loads you can select the notification type you want.

Thanks Birder and whitesimba,

#1 & #2 was taken at 1/20 sec. No digital manipulation was done other than the usual color/contrast adjustment.

#1 is a keeper because the charging red bull is still reasonably sharp, thus allowing the viewers to find an ankering point to focus their eyes on.

#2 is an impressionist's presentation of the formula drift. ;) .It 's there because of the interesting lines and the psychedelic colors. As why the line is going in two directions still puzzle me... ^o)

You were panning in the left (upward), but the car must be sliding downward (the backside moving inward in direction towards left side of you)
