Just try out some video taking on the Sony A55, using 70-400mm G Lens. I am very poor in video editing and only using the window movie maker to join the clip together and added in some music, but can't removed the ambient sound. |

Yes, there is a function to record only video with sound. Maybe I will use this function next time. |

Did u experienced overheating during this particular video..........? How about subsequently..............? I like the 10fps & the EVF but the sensor overheating is pulling me back from upgrading my A350. I read on internet that even using the 10fps frequently & in hot environment can cause overheat. A defect is a defect. Personally I think Sony botched up an otherwise very good A55 in it's haste to market it without more exhaustive testing. By the way, SonyStyle (Jurong Point) people are not even conversant with the A55's overheat issue. I will wait for the A7xx & I hope Sony is listening & not replay the same issue with the A7xxx....... Edited by Goldie9009, Oct 17 2010, 09:07 PM.

In that case, every DSLR on the market which can do video is defective !!! ...because all of them overheat and will shut down if you shoot video for more than 5mins (on average) |
