long walk this morning that stretched to 3pm! 200mm 1. mr olivebacked sunbird ![]() 2. mrs olivebacked sunbird ![]() 3. crowbilled drongo ![]() 4. scaly breasted munia ![]() 5. plantain squirrel with 200mm and 1.4tc ![]() cz1680 6. no id hopper . maybe some here knows. at 50mm ![]() 7. banana flower at 80mm ![]() |

thanks tankm. i like to take long walks and carry cam and lens to shoot. with 400mm cannot walk too far. also southern ridge a lot of hills, very shack after a while. |

You can encounter parrots, white crown thrush, WBSE, woodpeckers & monkeys too, if lucky. Les, did you walk all the way to Kent Ridge Park......or towards Henderson Wave direction? Been going there both direction via Science Park I (behind Normanton Park's back gate). |

yup. plenty of stuff to shoot. including flowers etc. i need the exercise so go for the walk and carry light equipment. |

i walk to mountain bike trail, normanton park pond, then henderson wave to mount faber and back. start point at alexandra road. truthfully, i was looking for the blue magpie- an escapee specie that have eluded me! but still no luck.
