nice catch frankie. #1 solid and clean perch! #3 look more like malaysian hawk cuckoo or hodgson hawk cuckoo. i may be wrong though. you took this in singapore? |

Thanks Leslie. The bird expert has ID #3 as Large Hawk Cuckoo. Very big bird, much bigger than Hodgson Cuckoo. Comments of the expert is "No, this is a juvenile, that's why no horizontal bar on breast. Hodgson's Hawk Cuckoo has a black-and-yellow bill. Large Hawk Cuckoo has a smallish head and long tail." |
