Dear Members, It is with great delight to have an opportunity for A55 users to submit their photos and be exhibited in the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards 2011. http://www.worldphoto.org/festivals-events/wpo-events/london/sony-world-photography-awards-gala-ceremony/ Please note the following below: 1) Photos must be captured by Sony Alpha A55 only 3) Images must show some form of action or fast movement. (or freezing of the subject) 4) Images for the preliminary selection will be in JPEG (submited to email indicated below) 5) If the image is selected to be show-cased at the exhibition, the submission would most likely be in RAW format, along with the JPEG. Therefore, best advice would be to shoot in RAW and convert to JPEG (as per most photo submissions, minimal PP and no addition or removal of objects) 6) For those selected images, a set of T&Cs will be presented to you 7) For images that are not selected, they will not be kept by Sony and deleted. Photos will have to reach Sony via email to Jiraiya1309@gmail.com by 30 March 3pm. You may wish to sms / pm me at 9277 8599 upon sending the photos to Sony so that I can inform them that you have submitted. Thank you and best regards, Benny Edited by greybear, Mar 29 2011, 02:56 PM.
