I don't have a favourite, really... but I really enjoy redbuds when they're in bloom. |

Pretty. Looks nice, though I bet at this time of year those trees' colors aren't around. |

I've always been fascinated by trees because of the "tales" they can give off when one merely looks at a tree. There's the question of how old a tree is, and how long it may have been in a certain area for. The animals it provided a home for, the fruits it may have grown (if fruit-bearing), and even how many leaves it's grown over the years. XD Trees are very beautiful living organisms, and they really provide something special for our planet. They should be appreciated more..they give so much to us (even if some are taken for wood and paper too). Truly great figures of nature...our world wouldn't be the same without them. Redbuds in particular look very beautiful..it would be nice to see pictures of the newly bloomed one. Edited by Captain Toad, Mar 20 2013, 06:03 AM.

The trees are starting to grow their leaves up here in Toronto too, but there's still some time to go before they're fully sprouted. XD Ah well, I can't wait to see some trees around here - especially those with bloomed blossoms. A really beautiful sight, and another reason as to why I'm quite fond of Spring. At least the grass looks much greener now (than it did in the past few months) and the weather is finally starting to rise. More rain and clear blue skies on other ocassional days is what we need now. XD |

They are very pretty trees especially while the blossoms are present; however, I haven't seen one yet sadly. There might be some nearby near the woods; I'll have to take a walk there soon to see if any of them are present. The trees are only just starting to bloom here after a long winter's nap. xD Hope they grow faster. Really gives "life" to the areas around here. XD

Sadly, the one outside my window has lost most of its flowers. It is leafing, though. It looks nice. |

That's all right, leaves growing on a tree are great too. They may not sport the bright colours of blossoming trees in Spring; however, the fresh green colour of the leaves grown on trees are simply beautiful on their own. It's so relaxing to see a group of them together. Late Spring - an excellent time to go for a walk and just observe the trees "coming to life" after a long winter's nap. ![]() Very inviting and on bright days, just gorgeous! |

They are beautiful. Trees sure do bring beauty to nature from looks and as well as the provision of homes for animals and even food in the form of fruits and nuts. xD Trees sure are convenient and it's definitely important to protect and treasure them. |

Trees are certainly important. I wouldn't want to live somewhere without them. They're nice to look at, even if it's the dead of winter. |

It's dead trees that look creepy. It's like it was a living, breathing thing but now it's dead and we have to see its "dead body". |

I wouldn't want to live anywhere without trees either. They really bring the true beauty of nature with them. Also trees in winter can look strange; howeevr, I agree that dead trees do look creepiest. They're so bare, and when things get dark at night - they can appear quite strange. Especially if the branches are twisted or very sharp. Much like a skeleton. Edited by Captain Toad, May 16 2013, 04:31 PM.

I love palm trees! They're fun to see up close. And their coconuts are nice too. And dates. |

I know, same here! ![]() Palm trees are just generally cool. Got to love their tall trunks and how some of them just bend over in such neat ways. XD Coconuts are a nice bonus to see on them too. Though trying to climb a palm tree sounds exhausting. XD |

Their bark is strange too. XD It does sound exhausting. There aren't any lower branches. I'm not trying it! |
