I usually don't count domestic/zoo animals. Takes the fun out of finding wildlife. Anyway, saw a bunch of butterflies including Gulf Fritillary and Giant Swallowtail. Also saw some dragonflies, not sure what kind. Saw what I thought was a Red-headed Woodpecker. Edited by ObsessedwithBirds, Sep 8 2013, 06:06 AM.

It doesn't say anything against it in the topic title, so I don't see why not. Anyway, just a dog so far for me. And I'll add my name to the list of people who don't normally see much wildlife .

^I've seen birds with only one leg. It should be fine. Btw, it wouldn't happen to be a European Herring Gull, would it? Such beautiful birds! Cedar Waxwings, House Sparrows, House Finches, Starlings, can't think of any others That's what I've seen yesterday and today. I don't think I saw a finch today, but I saw several waxwings! I saw some birds in the garden at work today. One of them came right up to my window, and stayed there for quite a while. It looked like a Western Jackdaw or something. |
