Probably the kidneys. They're amazing... so many millions of neurons.

All organs are pretty neat; however, I'm personally rather fond of the brain. It is the "control unit" of our body, and it's amazing how such a small three pound organ is capable of doing so many functions. It keeps us alive, moving, capable of performing actions, and more. A very handy organ; yet, so complex too. o.o

Regardless, the brain is amazing in both composition and function! :) Other organs are also very neat - kidneys, the stomach, bladder - they all have important functions and are certainly interesting to learn more about too. XD They may seem "weird" at first glance, we all should be thankful for them. XD Such functions just go unnoticed in our daily lives. XD

Also you're right about the kidneys - so small; yet, all those neurons. Complex; yet, so simply intriguing too. XD

Brain is an amazing organ too. I can't believe it can control so many things...

Same here..and it lasts for a lifetime too generally. Amazing! Definitely an organ we must all be careful of.

So many nerves and connections within the brain too. Additionally, the way how different parts of the brain control feelings and emotions - wow, the brain sure does have a ton of work on its "hands".

I'll just post this here for fun :P :

That is really cool. :0 Very amazing when it comes to the strength of the brain. All those active nerves and neurons constantly working throughout it each day - it's all really cool.

I know. Amazing.

I also like the small and large intestines. People don't realise how important they are. When they think about feces, they're like "eww!" But I'm like "really?". It's an important function and a really interesting as well. Wish I could swallow a camera and watch myself digest food. This one man on a PBS show did. Wish I could too, if I had the courage to swallow it, that is.

Of course, the kidneys and bladder are the same. They're fascinating too.

Brains. Without them, we would be like dementor ate our soul.

The intestines are definitely under appreciated and neglected. Without them, we're pretty much goners. The process of digestion as a whole is amazing and just think of that long pathway food takes to be digested within our bodies - it's amazing. 2-3 days? It's much like a really long highway till the final destination. :0

Intestines definitely help with that, and thanks to them - we're given the additional nutrients we need and be able to get rid of the excess material that we don't need in our bodies anymore. To excrete such wastes, such an important function and overall..feces is simply food, but just drained of their nutrients. Feces can be interesting as we all release waste and if we couldn't - our bodies surely would get sick, unhealthy, and even poisoned as a result of keeping it in. And if the intestines weren't around - we surely would be in trouble. We owe them a lot and should take care of them well. One wouldn't appreciate them too well until something happens to their intestines - best to appreciate them now.

I will agree about the kidneys and bladder too. When one has to go, they better go - and the fact how the bladder and kidneys work so well in releasing liquids from our bodies is incredible too. The body is such a complex system - and we just take it for granted at most times.

That was well-said. And I agree that they're underappreciated. Wish I had a shirt saying "I love my bowels too."

Yeah, I realise crap is unpleasant, but it is interesting. Wish I could travel down it too.

I remember that MSB episode. XD Traveling down Arnold's digestive track, wow, that show was awesome. XD

Thanks, and yes, the intestines, bowels, and related matter are underappreciated. They can be interesting though still. XD Gotta appreciate it since it's all apart of us. XD

Body organs in general deserve a lot better reputation than what they're given. Most people feel queasy around them; however, they're still what makes us living creatures. I admit that I too feel a bit queasy myself when seeing some of the live organs; however, they still play neat roles. Amazing how such light weighted things operate the complicated bodies. Nerves, arteries, veins, and more - so many of them and such complex pathways.

Though I agree that the intestines, bladder, and kidneys are some of the lesser appreciate organs. Could use some more love for bowel movements too.

I completely agree. I get queasy too, but it'd be nice to get over it.

The heart is amazing organ too.

It sure is an amazing organ, and that diagram of the heart's composition is still inviting and awesome.

The heart is pretty ideal, and it's cool how such a little organ pumps out gallons of blood each days. Simple pumps and it keeps us alive. How it also operates for such a long time is amazing too. Blood sure gets around in our body, and our heart is doing a great job in management!

Same here. Many are often grossed out by what happens in our bodies, but with such fascinating processes going on each and every minute within us throughout our lives - it's definitely incredible.

So complex too! Yet it all pieces together. The human body seems to be much like a great puzzle. :0

Though, I'm not fond of organs DX need to get over that "fear" or whatever it is.

But yeah, people shouldn't be grossed out by what happens in our bodies lol.
