"Mitosis is the process of cellular division in body cells." Spoiler: click to toggle Phases: Interphase -> Prophase -> Prometaphase -> Metaphase -> Anaphase -> Telophase/Cytokinesis Spoiler: click to toggle Amazing process that occurs so many times within our bodies even in just a single day! It's amazing how precise the body is when it comes to cell diving with the splitting and dividing of chromosomes. Simply incredible! |

Yeah, it's amazing how cells split off so successfully at most times. Just as though the body was like a "factory" producing its goods the best it can. XD So many cells..and to think how many are made per day.

I know I can't imagine how many are being produce in one day, let alone our whole life.

It's incredible, isn't it? It sure would be cool to see a cell splitting right through a microscope in live action. Just splitting and diving - it sounds neat. XD |

I believe I remember seeing some phases of mitosis under a microscope in my 12th grade Biology class. One observation made were that the cells dividing were certainly larger than the cells under interphase. I believe it was the test to find onion root tip cells.

I may have gotten to do that in school too. But that was so long ago... |
