"Mitosis is the process of cellular division in body cells."

Spoiler: click to toggle

Phases:

Interphase -> Prophase -> Prometaphase -> Metaphase -> Anaphase -> Telophase/Cytokinesis

Amazing process that occurs so many times within our bodies even in just a single day! It's amazing how precise the body is when it comes to cell diving with the splitting and dividing of chromosomes. Simply incredible!

Yeah, it's amazing how cells split off so successfully at most times. Just as though the body was like a "factory" producing its goods the best it can. XD So many cells..and to think how many are made per day. :O

It's incredible, isn't it? It sure would be cool to see a cell splitting right through a microscope in live action. Just splitting and diving - it sounds neat. XD

That would be amazing to see under a microscope.

I believe I remember seeing some phases of mitosis under a microscope in my 12th grade Biology class. One observation made were that the cells dividing were certainly larger than the cells under interphase.

I believe it was the test to find onion root tip cells.

I may have gotten to do that in school too. But that was so long ago...
