Which do you prefer? I love both equally, though I lean more towards palaeontology. I've always been more fascinated with extinct animals than extant (living) animals. Don't get me wrong, extant animals are cool, but 99% of life has become extinct. Therefore, I will vote for both. |

Both Zoology or palaeontology are fascinating to me. Extant animals are really neat, and it's amazing to see the diversity of animals we have on this planet today. However, palaeontology also has great charms too with the mysteries of the various extinct animals that lived so many years ago. So many of these creatures are so strange and unusual, it's hard to even believe that they once existed! Both fields of study are really neat, and I'd love to learn more from both sides. Earth and its animals sure have changed over the years! |
