Basically, what are your favourite wildlife sightings? Here are my top five: 1. Osprey at a local lake. It was quite far, though I could see it was fishing! 2. Red-backed Salamanders. I actually saw these in a small forest in Toronto. 3. Merlin at the same lake as Osprey. It was my first confirmed sighting of a Merlin. 4. Pigeon Guillemots and Harbour Seals at Monterrey Bay. This was my first sighting of a species of auk and pinniped, respectively. 5. California Towhee. One of my favourite birds; they are active plus they're adorable. |

Time for adventure!~

Here we go: 1. A Merlin - indeed this was a majestic bird. Just seeing it's sharp appearance was incredible! I'm glad to have seen it. 2. Turkey Vultures - I remember seeing a bunch of these Turkey Vultures last year. It was incredible seeing a whole swarm of them in Chickasaw. 3. Southern Stingray at Ripley's Aquarium of Toronto. Seeing these and the other rays just swimming by was amazing. (whoops, these are captive animals - but still...they were amazing!) 4. Mockingbird - I quite like this bird and I'm glad to have seen it during my travels to Oklahoma. It's a funny little bird. XD 5. Baby cottontail rabbit - I remember seeing a tiny little cottontail rabbit near Stoufville. It was adorable and seeing it during the sunrise was adorable.
