My reading is confined to work-related stuff and the newspaper. :(

As I have exams in a week, I have no time for recreational reading at the moment, so it's mainly dusty old tomes on early medieval Europe, some stuff on witchcraft, Weber and Freud.

I just started rereading the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. It's an amazing fantasy series. The characters are marvelously developed and written and the story is engaging. Fun for all ages that don't mind the occasional bloodbath.

My readings are once again limited to those assigned by my university professors. I have two courses on the go right now (doesn't sound like much until I add the "graduate studies" part), and so my readings are comprised of two major subjects: feminist literary theory and utopian/dystopian literature. I'm only a week into these courses, so I really couldn't tell you how dull/interesting the subject matter is, though I'm confident that no more than 1/3 of the assigned readings will put me to sleep.

I am currently reading the Erotic Adventures of Sleeping Beauty by Anne Rice. An amazing trilogy. I think this is the 9th or 10th time I've read them.

I'm guessing you're all caught up on her vampire books then?

Yes. All done the Vampire novels. The first five were the best. But it is still my opinion that the sleeping beauty series is MUCH better. I've also started reading Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

I actually prefered Ramses the Damned over the Vampire novels. Finally a mummy story that reminded me of Universal's Mummy with Boris Karloff, and She by H. Rider Haggard

Ramses the Damned was an excellent book. I've only read it four of five times. I much prefer the Sleeping Beauty series. :D

Ooh, vomit smiley!! I think I have one on MSN........ Well, in my defense, I didn't really have much choice in terms of courses. My program has very few courses available, and the few that are available are all mandatory. Although, I have to admit, my nerdy self and I love to learn about different modes of thinking and various social movements, whether I agree with them or not.
