It's more interesting than you'd think.

Now I'm reading "The Boxer Rebellion" by Diana Preston, and "Tulip Fever" by Deborah Moggach.

Working my way through the Black Jewels trilogy by Anne Bishop again. Kinda dark, plenty of sex and magic... what more could a person want? I love the role reversals and alternate histories for Satan and Hell - interesting world.

Yeah, but $20 is a bit much for a book.

<don't know if I got that quote thingy right>
Cluichedit: You didn't, but I fixed it for you. Now, back to your post...

No, I haven't. Haven't even been in the state. Don't know why that name came to me... although I always liked the song. :) It would have been nice if I googled it *before* I registered so I could have at least spelled it correctly. :P

Actually the firast time I saw the name was when I read The Song of Hiawatha,by Longfellow. Even had to memorize some passages in American Lit class in HS. Of course nowdays, its another of things that is no longer taught in schools due to the damned political correctness....GRRR! Longfellow,Whitman, Sandberg, Frost. These are national tresures, and their stuff is much better than the tripe that passes for poetry today.*takes deep breath* Okay, rant's over. :)

Have a child in school do we? lol I have kids in school and the only reason they aren't complete idiots is because we do our own research projects and reading, etc. It's scary what passes for an education these days.

Oh... and I'm sure the quote thing still isn't right.... if someone wants to explain it to me.... slowly and in words of one syllable or less please.... <sigh>
