Cool! I'll need to find this bad boy!

I'll probally end up going to Hell if I pull some of the tricks on my associates but I'm reading How to Play in Traffic, by Penn and Teller.

I'm about a third of the way into it, and it's fantastic. It's a nice, slow build, but that's fitting for the story, really.

Stuck in another Steinbeck phase: just read The Short Reign of Pippin V and The Moon is Down.

Bought Stranger in a Strange Land (Heinlein) for a friend.

I just started reading The Dresden Files: Full Moon by Jim Butcher. So far, so good.

Lost Voices of the Royal Navy; a collection of short personal accounts of those serving in the Royal Navy from 1914-1945. Fascinating read

I visited Half Price Books yesterday, and bought a few new books.

All For the Union:The Civil War diary and letters of Elisha Hunt Rhodes, by Elisha Hunt Rhodes, edited by Robert Hunt Rhodes.

Bayonet Foreward, by Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain

In Life, First You Kick Ass: Reflections on the 1985 Bears and Wisdom from Da Coach by Mike Ditka and Rick Telander

Hi! Who are you? :)

New, evidently.

But, uh, salutations!

On another note, I've been reading Dave Barry's Money Matters or whatever it's called. I'm too lazy to look.

I went from reading nothing to having too much to read. I'm still on the Dresden Files (which are strengthening my love for Chicago even though I've never been there). I have the Song of Fire and Ice series by George Martin and the Elric series by Micheal Moorcock. Also, I just picked up the Call of Cthulhu RPG, so I'm going to be reading though the two books I got. I need to know my stuff before I run a campaign for people. Wheeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me too. Oddly, enough. I should be done soon, though. Almost half way through the eighth book.

I discovered something rather interesting. Something that people like me shouldn't do.

If you have a rather vivid imagination, do not read CoC and the Dresden Files in the same night, just before going to bed. Makes for some pretty messed up dreams. Eek.

I put down Angels and Demons a while ago. So, now I'm reading First Lady by Michael Malone (or rather, re-reading) and since I'm doing more commuting, (like over an hour each direction) I decided I'd expand my mind and am now listening to books on tape, so I'm listening to Behold, Here's Poison by Georgette Heyer.
