Hey Bossman! That Flowchart in your latest post of the cabinet changes looks like a play I've used on Madden '08.

Great post BTW! I laughed my arse off.

Yeah, but unfortunately it left me down an ambassador to Palentine -- a matter which has been quickly rectified (check PMs).

On a side note, I'm looking to publish another issue of the Picayune soon. If you have an article you'd like to see featured, post it!

I've got an article, but its going to be an ongiong series. with the Palentine's computer technology pretty much finally coming out in the open after the Yeldan affair, I'm going to have the Palentine deal with thses issues. Most of the people involves with the cyberware like datajacks and cybernetics have been the younger generation or military personel. While bionics have been available for medical use, I'm forseeing more technology becoming available as companies will want to cash in. I'm also foreseeing a anti techie backlash with a terrorist movement eventually forming, as some people become uneasy with the changes or afraid of the consequences.

The first article will be HIH getting a Datajack and the neural net to support it. She's hoping to show her support of the new technology and also demostrate to the citizens the safety of the device(which has been in use by the government for years). Unfortunately this wuill also make her the prime enemy of the luddites.

(OOC: I've been watching and reading a lot of Appleseed, and Ghost in the Shell. Masamune Shirow is not your typical Anime/manga artist and writer. He tries to add some of these philosophical and ethical issues and delemas in his writings. He's a lot like Robert A. Heinlein in that respect.)

Good Response Kenny. I think I'm going to keep adding some fuel to the fire by having Jhessan cut a promo. I'm going to watch some classic Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Supestar Billy Graham, and roddy Piper for inspiration. :)

Ah, the Bridge to Nowhere, Now that brings back memories.

In Pittsburgh, the Fort Dusquense Bridge was referred to as "The Bridge to Nowhere". it waas mostly completed in 1963, but due to problems getting right of ways from private landowners the northern connections were not completed until 1969, and 1986.

On December 12, 1964, a 21 year old chemistry major at the University of Pittsburgh drove a 1959 Chrysler station wagon off the end of the bridge and landed unhurt on the other side. It was said that he was tired at the time and simply forgot that the bridge was incomplete.

Another edition of AO's pinko commie rag! And Bloodstone Kay's Picayune debut! Yay!

P.S. Yelda's stuff was out of date, considering the civil war that has exploded since then, so I couldn't include it. Sowwy. :(

Analysts differ as to what the first item on Douria's legislative agenda will be, but Gabriele Santos of Human Rights International predicts "it might have something to do with banning male-genital mutilation. Each year, billions of baby boys have their penises brutally mutilated by so-called 'doctors' and 'mohels,' and this atrocity must end!

Damn you kenny!

Working on a story for the Picayune. Senator Sulla is thinking about hiring some Palentine Dolphins to join his staff in the WA.

Sorry, I thought it already was. Sorted.

And Palentine, that's good news. We're overdue for another Jolt edition; I've been short on new material to make one.

Hmm, so we have a nation of three resentful ethnic groups, beset constantly with violence, attacks and civil war, recently united under an uncertain new federal government, limited autonomy and other measures taken in the interest of political reconciliation. Is this Altanar we're discussing here ... or Iraq? :P

Well, I posted a description of Altanar on my blog as what would happen if Kazhakstan bodyslammed Persia and they had a baby, so I guess Iraq might not be too far off the mark. ;)

Unlike Iraq, though, the three groups in Altanar actually want to be part of the experiment (for the most part). I'm still trying to figure out if the Iraqis actually have much interest in maintaining a single country.
