If only more people thought so. Thanks, though! The record we have is The Man-Machine, and though I wasn't sure initially about the minimalist feel I listened to Die Roboter and Metropolis a few times and I've been really fascinated. Also, listening to electro-indie/punk stuff like MGMT, Datarock, and Interpol. I'm not a very versatile music fan in that I don't pay much attention to genres and things, but I've started using Pandora more so I have no excuse not to be more involved. |

Trans-Europe Express and Autobahn are excellent albums too. I still have my 30+ year old vinyl copy of Autobahn. |

I have Autobahn, Computer World and Tour de France Soundtracks on CD, and Trans-Europe Express on CD and vinyl. My father has some on vinyl, and he gave me some Tangerine Dream LPs, which are also pretty great. MGMT put on a good live show. I saw Tindersticks instead of Interpol at Latitude, though, but they're ok. |

A better choice is Jeff Dunham's Don't Come Home For Christmas. Featuring Achmed the dead terrorist singing Jingle Bombs.

Well, "Graveyard Girl" by M83 is officially the best song of the year according to our in-house poll (2 votes from me and my father, beating some song by Duffy that my mum voted for). So there. |

So it turns out Merriweather Post Pavilion is definitely worth the hype. A fantastic album. At the moment I also rather like Stars and Headlights, and I saw a great live set by Baskery at the weekend. Attractive Scandinavian women and banjos - all you can ask from a music set. |

In a commercial sandwich chain (Eat) in London... Indpendence Day, by Elliott Smith! Somewhat unexpected. |

I am likely seeing Tokyo Police Club in March, and would be seeing Animal Collective in May (both in-state shows), but I'm likely going to be in Japan in May, so I'm sadly out. |

Just got back from the free instore gig by Howling Bells to launch their second album: sounded excellent, so I'm looking forward to listening to it. Otherwise, I'm going through a wispy ethereal phase courtesy of the Cocteau Twins and The Sundays, plus MGMT. |

Currently listening to Iron & Wine covering Stereolab, a particularly sublime experience. That said, if Sam Beam covered Girls Aloud, I'd listen: his voice has a mesmeric quality. For my birthday, I got: - Buffalo Springfield - Grant Lee Buffalo - Tom Tom Club |
