Ugly Betty is my real indulgence :P and I'm mad about Strictly come Dancing, i think the U.S. version was called Dancing with the Stars, the whole thing is so Kitch and cutsey, i should hate it really but it's like a drug. :(

I also have to admit an affection for "Ugly Betty"; Vanessa Williams makes a spectacular villainess. I'm not up at 2 a.m. to watch the show, but still...:P

"Heroes" too. No matter how annoying those Japanese kids are!

I watch too much TV.

Oh my God, me too. I'm two weeks behind, now, though. Damn rehearsals...:(

And, yay, NCIS is back. I'm psyched. Have I mentioned I'm totally into House now? And since the SciFi channel started showing reruns of Lost a few weeks ago, I'm totally hooked on that now, too.

I've been watching Ghosthunters, and am looking forward to tommorrow nights 7 hour live broadcast from Fort Deleware.

I prefer this show over the British show Most Haunted. The TAPS team doesn't freak themselves out like the Most Haunted team always seems to do.

I'm reminded of how much I used to like "3rd Rock from the Sun," ever since TV Land decided it was "classic TV."

The fact that a show that aired in my lifetime is on TV Land makes me feel old. :(

It was canceled in 2001; it's not like it's ancient or anything. :P

I loved that show! I remember the one where Dick discovered casual sex had me in tears of laughter.

And I can still remember most of the "Slingerang" song.

My addiction to watching aeroplanes falling from the sky has now reached fever pitch. I get shivers if their isn't an episode of Air Crash Investigations or Seconds from Disaster I haven't seen on at least once a day. I am scaring myself.

On the plus side, I can now offer you this useful tip: don't fly on a MacDonald-Douglas 'plane. Seriously, the damn things seem to fall out of the sky more often then tossed bricks...

Or is it just me who's noticed this?

You do realize that statistically air travel is safer than traveling by car right?

Yes, but it's far more dangerous then commercial hovercraft, by my reckoning. That and the fact that watching aeroplanes crash is far more interesting then watching cars crash.

In fairness, watching these programmes hasn't put me off flying. The two hour check in, being felt up by gay policemen, having my shoes stolen, the extortionate cost of a cellophane sandwich, and having my luggage apprently sent through a time warp to medieval Wurttemberg have...

Then how come there aren't any sports to watch planes crash like there are for cars, for example NASCAR. :D

Well, the last time I flew was about 15 years ago so that was before most of that stuff became a problem.

Gadzooks! There's an untapped market there! "Packed DC10's with Faulty Engines Racing"! We could even have an "Xtreme" version, involving, I don't know, thunderstorms. It would have to occur at 35,000 ft, which might make filming difficult, but it will mean that explosive decompression may occur, and even more horrifying crashes... :augh:

This could make millions!
