As for filming, chase planes. But I wouldn't get your hopes up for explosive decompression, the Mythbusters showed that it doesn't happen. |

Au contraire. Explosive decompression does happen, it just doesn't mean what people think it means. It doesn't blow up 'planes, but it can down them. Especially my favourite aircraft to see crash, the DC10. Basically, an outward opening cargo door blewout twice on them, causing a pressure difference which literally sucked the passenger floor down and cracking it, though the plane was able to land. The first time it happened they made recommendations which would prevent it, which MD ignored. The second time it happened, the same thing happened with the floor, but more violently. As the aircrafts hydraulics go through the passenger floor, this meant the plane had no control, so it decided to have a bit of a plummet, killing all on board. What made it was was that MD knew the problem with the door locking mechanism and the lack of floor ventilation before it was put into production, and ignored it and hoped it would go away. [/DC10 rant] |

My brother got me into "Kenny vs. Spenny" recently. It's incredibly dumb, but for some reason I really like it. ...hey, shut up! |

Last week I bought Mick Foley's Greatest Hits and Misses, and finally had a chance to watch some of it. Mankind was okay, but Cactus Jack in the WCW and ECW is awesome. Mick's intros to matches and such is priceless. |

Heh, now "Scrubs" too. Even though it's still on the air. I'm not complaining though; Dr. Cox cracks me up. edit: :dumbass: |

Halfway through series 5 of Homicide: Life on the Street, one more series to go after this. Thank you box set DVDs... but what am I going to do when I've run out of Pembleton, Bayliss and the gang? I might have to speak to real people. Ugh. |

Damn, that show is old! I didn't even realize until I remembered it was on the air back when I was in HS. Color me more than a little annoyed that the top-rated new series this season is "The Mentalist," a lame CBS crime dramedy - and blatant ripoff of "Psych." USA is running a marathon of the latter series all day today, in anticipation of the winter-season premiere tonight. Yay. |

American Idol starts again tonight (what? who's laughing? shut the fuck up :P), with a new judge, fewer bad auditions, and a bunch of other lame changes that don't look promising. But at least the results shows will be shortened to half an hour, which means fewer torturous group performances, corny Ford commercials, and random ramblings from Ryan. Here's hoping. |

Okay, is it just me, or is NCIS turning into Scooby Doo? The murderer always seems to be the bloke you meet for a few minutes at the beginning! |

Spenny made such a convincing woman it was almost scary. One of my favorites was the viral-video competition, especially when Spenny dressed up like a go-go girl! |

The North County couple were just kicked off the Amazing Race. Aww. Lost on DVD; great show, but an exhausting one! Also, Bravo has started re-airing reruns of the West Wing. And once they get through all those nauseating Matt Santos episodes, I might start watching. |

Oh, hell yes!! As the biggest Futurama geek imaginable, this is the most thrilling TV-related news I've heard all year. Hopefully the show's reincarnation doesn't totally destroy it, a la "Family Guy." |
