...whatever that means.

Both Antarctic Kawaiians and mousebumples are celebrating their respective nativities this week. So let's party!

Let the picture-spamming commence! :w00t:

I don't really have a good image of cats and mice offhand, so here is a nice picture of a crucified, female Italian martyr with flowing ribbons covered in bills of various denominations. I mean who doesn't love money?

Seriously, I was a part of her escort duty last Saturday and it's as close as I can come to a photo of a money tree.

Saint Liberata is the patron saint of the village of Pizzone, Italy. She is declared a holy virgin and martyr by the Roman Catholic Church. Her father was Lucio Catelio Severo and mother was his wife Celsia. She had eight other twin brothers and sisters (Geneva, Victoria, Eufemia, Germana, Marina, Marciana, Basilisa, and Quiteria), of which all of them, together with Liberata, were martyred, under the regime of Emperor Hadrian. Her remains are kept at the Cathedral of Sigüenza, Spain.

We even had our own Miriachi band.

Thanks! :)

I survived mine; no fancy celebrations, I'm not the type for that.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to let you all know this was a milestone for me--I turned 50 this year. :o

Sorry, but age hasn't given me any words of wisdom. Though the more I hang out on the Internet, the more I'm beginning to agree with Peter O'Toole in The Lion in Winter when (as King Henry II) he said, "I'm the oldest man I know; I've got ten years on the Pope!"

:wtf: WOOT WOOT WOOT :wtf:

Welcome to the Society of people who turned 50 this year! (SOPWTFTY?)

Of course, don't forget that I am 63 days your elder, so respect your elders.

But we are both older than ... wait for it ... Wynton Learson Marsalis (born October 18, 1961)

Tune into PBS on Thursday, October 13 at 8:00 pm* for a Live From Lincoln Center broadcast as trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, the artistic director of Jazz at Lincoln Center, marks his 50th birthday with a jazz celebration for the ages. The first hour of this two-hour performance will be televised; the entire performance will be streamed live, for free, on PBS.org.

I'm going to have to check with my Droid friend if he can get that during our bowling game. My Samsung probably can't hack it and AT&T sucks at the lanes.
