I thought that it would be a good idea to have a thread where people can show their deities to new players and old players alike. Here, players are encouraged to give information about their deities. Don't worry- anything you don't want people to know about (such as secret moves) doesn't have to be included. These profiles would be updated after every update by Dial, so that they are kept up-to-date and don't make you god out to be any better/worse than they already are. Below I have made a rough template for how profiles could be structured. I shall probably upload a profile of my deity today if I have the time.

[big][big]Deity Name[/big][/big]
[big]Deity's titles- only ones used in game, please.[/big]
Picture if you have one

Description: This is for your deity's chosen physical forms, forms in dreams/illusions, and any other forms it has appeared in in the past. It would be useful to include gender here if it applies.
Personality: What can we expect your deity to act like?
Breach Zone: Where did your deity first appear?

Domain: What domains does your deity have an influence over? You can go into detail here if there are specifics.
Prophet: Who is/was your prophet? How did they hear of you? Where are they now?
Followers: How many followers do you have? Who does your deity gain worship from? How do they worship you?
Influence: Where does your deity get worshiped? How much land do you control? Do you have temples or cathedrals or statues in your honour?
Miracles: Here is where things get longer. What can your deity do that makes them a deity? What minions obey them? What weapons are at their disposal?

Allies: Are you in a pantheon or allegiance? Is your deity friends with anyone/anything? Why/why not?
Enemies: Do you have enemies? Why are they your opponents? Have you defeated any opponents in the past?

Key events: What events have shaped your deity's history? e.g. wars, alliances, mistakes, pacts, military decisions, changes in worship, miracles etc.

Nembus
Nembus, the Dreamdancer

Also called - 'God of Slumber', 'Father of Nightmares', 'One Who Dwells Within', 'Six-faced God', 'Lord of Moths'

Behavior & Treatmant

Its more loyal subjects know him as a benevolent deity that forewarns of disasters, protects families and households, grants certain wishes, or dreams, or turns them into nightmares if felt betrayed or if met with opposition and disbelief from the realm of humans. In its worst light, it is collective nightmares incarnated, in its best, it is a protective wish-granting deity. He is both God, and the Devil, of his religion. A deity of dual nature. He is merciful, lenient, forgiving and generous to his loyal subjects, but vengeful, furious, sadistic and unforgiving to his enemies and those who wronged him.

His god and demigod allies are similarly treated, respected, and helped. Often to the point of engaging in conflicts or wars that don't involve it, but do involve them, and prepared to risk a lot to save them. He has a fondness for certain dark deities, but not all. Similarly, certain fondness for lighter, more benevolent deities, but not all. He is mostly attracted to those who have a looming danger hanging above their heads, are about to die, who have been victims of certain act or person, who have been tremendously wronged. Prostitutes, escorts, consorts and concubines are held with high respect by Nembus. Murderers, rapists and other heavy criminals are severely punished and used as unwilling military or defensive force by Nembus, ensuring they do have at least some kind of positive role in his society. Some lesser criminals are reformed by doing noble deeds in favor of Nembus. They get a pardon by doing so.

Symbolism:

Nembus is associated with dreams, nightmares, sleep, sleepwalking, sleep paralysis, somniphobia, insomnia, hypersomnia, narcolepsy, darkness, light, the Moon, the Sun, the Occult, daydreaming, the subconscious, altered states of consciousness, vengeance and fertility. Its also regarded as possessing foresight and oracular, prophetic abilities. Its symbolic insects are the night moth, tsetse fly, mosquitoes, bedbugs, and scorpions. Its symbolic animals are the bat, crow and the cat. Its symbolic plants are poppy (mainly red poppy - papaver somniferum), catnip, lilacs and black orchid, as well as an additional variety of psychedelic mushrooms. This in turn points to the four colors associated with this deity - Red, purple, black, and white. A singular or a trio of eyes painted in three of the four colors is found as tattoo on some of the followers (usually they decide between black or white). If a singular eye, the upper arch has six marks. Tattooing is a very common form of religious expression for Nembus' followers.

Philosophy, Religion & Forms of Worship

Followers colloquially refer to the belief system as Nembuism. Nembuism acknowledges the existence of other Gods, but they are largely portrayed as gods who are less powerful than Nembus. Humans are to decide themselves which God provides the best means of worship and consequently the best results, often pointing to the lack of ritual sacrifice of anything, as a means to show that it is merciful and considerate. Its also considered that every loyal follower of Nembus is awarded with a guardian spirit that watches over them day and night. Nembuism promotes freedom of expression and sexuality, allowing for sex cults to exist, and houses to offer sex services in his name. Often these houses are actually his own mini-scale shrines and temples. Nembus is a friend of the sick and leper, the abandoned, the stranded, the lost, the outcasts, the rejected, the unwanted, the victims. A sworn enemy to those who insult him, or try to hurt his devoted followers. Its religion is considered reforming, being able to integrate people of different backgrounds, and restructure them in a better fashion in society.

Large-scale temples are rare, but their size compensates for their rarity. They are megastructures of immense proportions, in hexagonal form, always open at the center, displaying an arrangement of the seven foundations to its religion as seven rectangular monuments. The openings and analogue windows of the Temples are architectured in a way to follow the sun and moon cycles to astute precision. His solar aspects are worshiped every 7 days, and variable periods for solar eclipses. And his lunar aspects every 29 days for full moons, and variable periods for lunar eclipses. Eclipses are believed to amplify Nembus' powers to the fullest potential, especially the solar ones. Sexual rituals exist and are performed during these eclipses. Sex magic by the practitioners is considered less risky, more humane, civilized, and even more potent than human ritual sacrifice as performed by other religions in the world.

The philosophy of Nembus significantly shields children from any impure behavior, and sets a lower sexual threshold of 14 years of age. The murder of a child is more severely punished than the murder of an adult, considering the child more pure than the adult. Pedophile acts with persons under 14 are severely punished as well. Nembuism supports polyamory, and poligamy, as well as monogamy, for all genders. Pansexuality is promoted, but heterosexuality, bisexuality and homosexuality are accepted. Farming and botany, together with refining materials, fabrics and liquids are considered one of the key catalysts for progress, as well as the growth and recombination of crops, plants and fungi, largely via economy means. Architecture, astronomy, mathematics and geometry is also promoted, as part of the ways to understand the universe, as well as its segregated aspects. They are also used to understand the gods, the Occult, individual fates, tapping into prophecies and foresight, one of the aspects of Nembus itself. Enlightenment and expansion of the mind and consciousness are also key spiritual aspects of the religion, and most fanaticism would derive from there. Altered states of consciousness are considered the doorway between the realm of mortals and physicality, and the realm of the immortals and spirits, among which one is Nembus, who is also considered to shift between the physical and spirit realm, having it as an innate ability.

Nembuism joins hedonists and altruists under one hybrid philosophy, that teaches that both are important to the individual person and the collective community, and that they shouldn't exist alone as one or the other exclusively. Help yourself before you can help somebody else, be generous and giving, but don't strip yourself poor so that others can be rich. Equality before anything else. Enjoy your body, you won't have it forever, enjoy it with others, as that's how you celebrate life. Create life responsibly, don't multiply if you can't feed your existing loved ones. Dream of the future, as you and Nembus co-create it together. Respect your elders, their wisdom can be used in the mundane and in the most special circumstances. Wealth of the mind and soul, before material wealth. Idols and objects of worship that belong to other gods bring curse instead of blessings, when Nembus performs his will.

Representation & Appearance

The manner of reference is 'it' because it appears in masculine, male form, a feminine, female form, and most often enough, an androgynous hermaphrodite form too. Sometimes, these gender aspects of this deity might be worshiped separately, or all aspects worshiped together under a plural form, referred to as either the Dark or the Light Trinity. Since each aspect portrays a dual form of being a benevolent savior and wish-granter, as well as a demonic sadistic torturer, there are smaller sects that worship 6 different aspects of Nembus, sometimes collectively called the Lunar/Solar Six. Three good and three bad entities.

Nembus, if/when manifested in "physical form", has a humanoid-like torso, often portrayed as a male, with muscular shape. Depending on whether he uses his light depiction or dark depiction, the body can be covered in black or white horse-like fur all over, and patches of purple, red and maroon as stripes or pasterns that color it differently in certain areas. The hands have a set of five fingers with the addition of black, retractable claws. The legs are double jointed, and a big tail exists that can retract inside his body or can grow very long, on willpower alone. The tail ends with a set of poisonous tendrils and a shooter-proboscis that can paralyze. Its shaped similarly like the Psi (Ψ) sign of the Greek alphabet. The proboscis is located between the three tendrils. Its face only features glowing red eyes, with no notable or recognizable nose or mouth. When Nembus speaks, the throat glows slightly red, but no visible mouth opens. The head features bat-like ears, and exhibits "antennae" like organs like the night moths, that start from above the inner end of his eyes and extend above the head and swirl behind it. They change color between orange, purple and red depending on mood or will.

Nembus also features a "mane" like a lion's mane, and its colored either purple, red, white or orange. The mane slightly extends downwards towards his chest and below them, at the "ribcage" area. There are also stripes that are maroon, red or orange in color around where the ribs are. The arms feature stripes of red, purple or orange located between the hands and the elbows, and maroon or purple stripes on his legs, from the start of his legs from the torso to the knees. Nembus also has a double set of wings. They are really big (and they also retract back in the torso), and they resemble a bird's wings, but instead of feathers they are covered by the same horse-like fur. They start black or white but move towards dark red or orange as they extend outwardly.

In-Game brief summary/status:

Currently located in a small port city in Northern African coast called Hippone where the deity is so far treading nicely with the locals and advancing at a good pace. Prior to the arrival at Hippone, Nembus rescued a sculptor and his family from a genocidal act performed by another deity of the island of Palma (Mallorca), Spain. No friends or allies, but no potential enemies either (cept maybe for the jealous bitch that destroyed that island). Nembus doesn't have a physical form yet.

K'var
K'var

Description: K'var is male, and so far has two main forms he assumes. Forms sometimes appear with variations from time to time, the most common variation being how obscured in shadow he is. He has no physical form.

 • Hybrid Form: In this form K'var appears as a lean human male, with short-cut hair, a goatee, and a chiseled face. From the waist down he is serpentine and eventually melds into shadows. He has bat ears and bat wings as well. He is usually dressed in dark purple, shadowy robes and his regalia; a golden belt styled after a snake, and a simple silver crown bearing the likeness of a bats' head with two red eyes.
 • Human Form: K'var's human form is much the same as his hybrid form, but human below the waist instead of serpentine. The presence of absence of his batly features varies.

Personality: K'var has shown himself to be kind, caring, forgiving, strategic, stoic, ambitious, and sometimes joking. He dreams of creating what he calls "an Earthy Uptopia". So far he has behaved much as a kind and reasonably humble king, and has shown some leadership skills in rallying a group of slaves against a bully. Violence is not his first choice of action, but he has no issue with using it when necessary and can get rather angry when rubbed the wrong way.
Breach Zone: A slave mine below Gondar, Ethiopia.

Domain: Currently, technically, just Death. Shadows and the Bounty of the Earth are planned for the near future.
Prophet: A currently nameless slave, first found in the mine under Gondar. Upon becoming the prophet of K'var he obtained the power to peacefully kill or save/re-invigorate people near death with a touch of his left or right hand respectively.
Followers: 180
K'var's worshipers are currently all slaves in the mine under Gondar. Due to a need for secrecy their main form of worship is prayer, though K'var has also asked them to mark his symbol in hidden places around the mine.
Influence: Currently just the mine under Gondar. Ergo no temples, and due to a current need for secrecy nothing else such as statues either.
Miracles:

 • your new prophet can either save or kill people who are near death/mortally wounded.

Allies: Followers aside, K'var doesn't have any allies due to being limited to the mine. He does have a secret deal with the slave master, but if he is truly a friend/ally is uncertain.
Enemies: The only enemies K'var has had so far are a group of slaves who captured his prophet, think to sell him for their freedom. After finding their ringleader would not listen to logic, K'var scared the s*** out of him and rallied the other slaves to take him and his cohorts down.

Key events:

 • Coming into existence.
 • Founding the Silent Priests.

Up to date as of Turn 21.

The Heir
The Heir

Description: The Heir is male, and currently has one form, or rather, a cycle of forms that he takes on, flowing through them all throughout the length of the visions he gives. It is possible that the forms he takes on will change as he becomes more whole.

 • The Divine Cycle: The Heir initiates visions in the form of a beating human heart missing its inner right side. From there, the heart becomes whole and from it emerges the ghostly image of a young man, though no particular detail stands out. From there, once the vision ends, the figures disappears, the heart becomes un-whole, and then fades away.

Personality: Though The Heir is not yet whole and his personality is liable to change, for the moment he seems to be a rather benign god. Based upon the image he conjured as his first miracle, it’s likely that he is peaceful and takes genuine interest in the wellbeing of ‘his people’. Any of his other traits have yet to surface.
Breach Zone: The sleeping village of Doba, in Chad, Africa.

Domain: At the moment, The Heir seems to lack any specific domain, but he does have an affinity towards completion, unity, emotions, and protection, as well as hinting at perhaps some aspects of a harvest deity.
Prophet: The Prophet of The Heir is a young traveling writer, who happened to be in the village of Doba on the night his god was born. There, the Heir chose him out amongst the people of the village for his abilities and characteristics that The Heir lacked, presenting him with a longer vision than that used to contact the whole village. The Writer is still in the village.
Followers: The Heir currently has 70 followers, roughly most of the village of Doba. At the moment the only form of worship given to The Heir is by carving his words above the door of their bed chambers and reciting his words once in the morning and once at night, as well as through prayer and potentially the reading of holy leaflets if the follower in question is literate. This may change as time goes on however.
Influence: The Heir is a relatively young god and as such is only truly worshipped in the village of Doba, in Chad. At the moment, the only influence he has on his people is a change of attitude and some slight changes in their oral tradition and a small aesthetic change within their homes. This may change as time goes on.
Miracles: Being a young god, The Heir’s only miracle is to allow his followers to have an extreme sense of empathy, being able to feel the emotions of those around them, as well as their emotions affecting that of the people around them.

Allies: The Heir knows not anything in the world but himself and his people. For now, that is.
Enemies: The Heir has no enemies and wouldn’t want any. This is subject to change however.

Key events:

 • The Heir performs his first miracle in Doba

Blodätare
God of Fire and Battle/War, Eirene's Adopted Son, Teacher

Description: Blodätare never assumes a physical form, preferring to use illusions to give a general idea of where he happens to be exerting some of his power.
He prefers to take the appearance of a large, black humanoid with fire for hair and eyes, and a combination of leather and metal armor. He has recently added a mouth and prehensile tongue to this illusion.
This illusion varies in size. To human's he's only the size of a very large man, while to some gods, he is as tall as a tree. Still other gods percieve him as big enough to treat a small mountain like a chair.
He likes to give the illusion of himself bleeding molten metals.
Personality: Blodätare is laid-back and serious, but likes to put up an 'unstable wacko' act for others, ranging from outright sadistic to a mere goof. What is really dangerous about him is his tactical mind, which he uses to forumlate clever plans. He despises abuse and rape, and considers them crimes as bad as murder.
Breach Zone: Arrived in Budapest. Originates from some mysterious location that used to be far north of the Breach Zone, before it expanded.

Domain: Fire and War/Battle.
Prophet: Blodätare originally came with three prophets, whom he has since allowed to settle down and form families.
Followers: 2,000,000. He prefers to be worshiped through playfights and prayers. Despite his name meaning Blood Eater, he frowns upon the sacrifice of living things.
Influence: Blodätare is worshipped in Eirene's lands, but news about him has yet to spread very far. The only construction built for him was built by him- A large wooden tower with a platform on top, and cages under those. Eirene recently turned this into a massive Oak Tree.
Miracles:
-Fire Ants: Ants that can eat a human's body and soul. They are used to punish criminals and decimate enemies. As their name suggests, they can breathe fire, which spouts from the spiracles on their abdomens, giving them the appearance of flames for abdomens.
-Physical Interaction: Despite lacking a physical body, Blodätare is capable of manipulating the world around him. Things he's done range from stopping one of Eirene's rock spires to give the illusion of being impaled to picking up one of his students.
-Silver Spear: An intricate spear made specifically for him by Eirene, this spear can harness the power of the sun and moon to provide him with special fire. Fire from the sun is golden and destructive. Fire from the moon is silver in color, and does the opposite, healing and purifying all that it burns.
-Demigod Creation: Blodätare seeks out special individuals, with the goal of turning them into a 'zodiac' of Demigods, each with power derived from animals.

Allies: Blodätare joined Eirene, adopting her as a mother. This formed the Citadel Alliance, though he isn't fond of the name. He is an ally of the Five, though he has yet to learn of their existence, as Eirene has yet to inform him about them.
Enemies: Czernobog. Blodätare entered the Northwesternmost reaches of Czernobog's lands from the north, and quickly made himself Czernobog's enemy, just as Eirene and the Five were expanding to the North. He's only met the Knight of Bald Mountain in person once though.

Key events: The Great Migration, The Arrival in the Village, The First Vampyre Hunt, The Choosing of Noctua, The Confrontation and Alliance with Eirene, Meeting the Enemy.

Spinning, Spinning, Spinning
Abilmryz
Posted Image

Description: Abilmryz does not yet have a physical form, but appears in visions as a large, solid wheel, divided into segments and with a cap in the centre. Each segment is a different colour and each has something written on it, which seems to change over time. Orbiting around this there are nine carven wooden balls, each with a number from one to nine carved into them and each a different colour, small, rectangular scraps of papyrus with shapes and numbers upon them, metal and wooden discs with numbers and symbols upon them, terracotta figures of humans and animals, and three stone cubes with a number of small indentations in each of their sides, ranging from one to eighteen.
Abilmryz speaks in a feminine sounding voice, so it can be inferred that She is female. Whispery, swirling noises and faint sounds usually accompany Her speech, and can be heard more clearly if She is silent.
Personality: Abilmryz seems to be quite formal and descrpitive when speaking to Her prophet, but also concise, giving him his tasks fairly quickly. She seems to enjoy ordering him about. She has a rather sly, persuasive way of speaking, promising Her prophet great things despite having little power as of yet. She has been shown to plan ahead occasionally, and appears to be somewhat strategic.
Abilmryz is slightly narcissistic and quite ambitious, often boasting of Her power and abilities and convincing Her prophet of what he could achieve by working with her. It is unclear if She holds any real affection for her prophet or is just promising him so much so that She can use him as a tool to increase Her power.
Breach Zone: Being a traveling merchant, the prophet of Abilmryz doesn’t pay too much attention to where he is, so doesn’t know where he is at the moment. As such, Abilmryz is unsure of Her current location, but is using her prophet to ask around so that She can find it out.

Domain: Abilmryz current domain is Fortune. She has the power to provide her prophet with great Fortune in all of his endeavors, and tempts him into working for Her with promises of wealth, power and success. She also claims to hold sway over Reversals, telling Her prophet that She has the power to Reverse the fortunes of two people, which could elevate someone struggling through life to splendor, or cast down someone who was doing brilliantly by swapping their Fortunes around.
Prophet: The prophet of Abilmryz is a traveling African spice merchant. She appeared to him when his enterprise was doing poorly, offering to help and guide him and bring him success and good Fortune. He doesn’t currently know his location, but Abilmryz has sent him to ask around and find out.
Followers: Abilmryz currently has 100 followers, who heard of Her after her prophet told them his tale of how he suddenly became so successful. Due to this, all of Abilmryz’s current followers are customers of her prophet. She gains Her power from their prayers, but has also instructed Her prophet to create a terracotta Replica of himself with Her symbol on its chest and tell the rest of Her followers to do the same. She told him that She would take the Replica from him afterwards and add it to Her Divine Orbit. She claims that this will give him a closer link to Her and allow Her to offer him protection.
Influence: Abilmryz has a little influence around the area where Her prophet set up his spice enterprise after She visited him. 100 people pray to Her and Her prophet has had some successful business after She sent him his first vision.
Miracles: Abilmryz, like most deities, is capable of causing visions and illusions. As well as this, She is capable of creating great Fortune for Her prophet in all of his endeavors.

Allies: Abilmryz has yet to encounter any other Deity, but would most likely not be opposed to forming an alliance if She deemed it strategically beneficial.
Enemies: The Fortune that Abilmryz has provided Her prophet with has caught the attention of other tradesmen, who are now envious of him, wondering how that much Fortune could be possible. They could potentially be a threat to Her prophet, but She has revealed to him Her plan to sort them out.

Key events:

 • Appearance and gaining Her first follower – Came into existence, giving a vision to a traveling spice merchant and enlisting him as Her prophet.
 • First Miracle of Great Fortune – After Her worship spread, thanks to Her prophet telling his story to his customers, She became strong enough to bless Her prophet with great fortune in all of his endeavors, which She claims She will use to assist him in further spread of Her worship and conversion or control of the rival tradesmen.
