Alt Name: Glitch Whitla Character Name: Sophia Whitla Alias: Glitch Allignment: Neutral Gender: Female .. o.o ![]() (Click to view bigger) Age: 23 Apparent Age: 23 Height: 5'10'' Weight: 150 Ethnicity: White Orientation: Straightish (now this "sensual" category has my brow perked) Spoken Language: English, though the potential to translate would take an adaptation of a program Appearance: Pale skinned and fair haired, arms littered in pink lines and raised skin. Blank green eyes are larger than the normal persons, rings about pupils giving a dull glow. Her ears and head behind her ears is a mass of scarring and raised skin, resulting with twin antennae raising above her head from behind each ear. Her body is strong, results of strenuous training and several years in the marines. Her dress is.. nice. Trendy but not too loud.. if it wasn't for some of her more interesting characteristics she'd just be another face in the crowd. Weapon(s): ![]() Vintage 10 mm Megastar Ammunition: ![]() 10 MM Hollowpoints ![]() 10 MM Incendiary Rounds Cybersuit Specs: Made mostly from heavy duty kevlar and bulletproof material. Joints are reinforced with a scaled kevlar and aided by small motors to help her move. The scaling still creates a weaker area than the solid areas of suit. It is coated in a white, fire resistant material. It can withstand up to 700 degrees F for about three seconds. It would start burning through after that, slowly but surely. The suit itself gives off a specific and encrypted signal from each joint, that her power picks up on. This makes it harder to knock the suit offline with multiple points.. The 'ears' on the suit act as antennae to help her antennae pick up outside waves, increasing her interception power. The motors in the joints of the suit aid her in balance, giving her above average, but not superhuman. Strength a little more than she's capable of, which is good on her own. She's a strong woman in the first place, but once again, not superhuman. Powers: [/b] Interception of waves. She's a human antennae. She is able to pick up on waves. Radio waves, satellite, wi-fi....etc. She can intercept bank cameras for example, or any camera system that has to send it's information over any line that is connected to the internet. She can intercept credit card information. Computer search inquiries. Telephone conversations. Secondary Mutation: Interference. It's hard to snap a picture of her if the camera is nearby, use cell phones around her, and other weak signal collectors. TV's will act like they do when a text comes through and your phone's near the computer monitor. Because of all the babble in her head....psychics will find it very hard to make sense. They will most likely see a series of 0's and 1's and codes they can't understand. She's getting better at controlling the interference. She has a cyber suit to help her control her interference waves as well. Her suit allows her to increase the output of this interference wave. Mutation related equipment: Audio sensors: The antennae is connected to a processor that allows her to translate all the waves she picks up (including sound waves) into a language. Her vision has a side HUD, so-to-speak, which allows her to sort out the waves she wants to pick up and selectively reduce the confusion they cause. Optics: These eyes can zoom in and out. They can see long distances binocular style. From the top of the empire state building she could probably still see the eye color of a child below. She can zoom in to an almost microscopic level. She can't see electrons or anything of that nature, but microorganisms can sometimes be spotted if she's looking for them. She just tries not to focus on those things. She also has decent night vision. Processor: The processor on her allows her to think faster when things get a little crazy. When her adrenaline rises certain parts of the processor will turn off, quieting her head, and helping her process what she is seeing. Time will seemingly slow for her, though she can only react as fast as humanly possible. She doesn't have super speed, she can just think of her actions easier. Processor: A microprocessor connected to her antennae is capable of holding a multitude of home-made apps and software and programming. The programming in itself has become kind of a spawn of her mutation, it would take a team of people or another mutant to crack her code. Power Origin: Born with it. History: Glitch was born into a revolution in the making. Her parents belonged to a small time group of known mutants... alphas... whatever they are called. Homosuperior. Their dear friend most conveniently was mostly used for weapons and robotics pertaining to mutant's needs. He was a valued asset on the team but watched as the mutants excelled where he would usually fail. When her mother and father found out they were to be parents they left the life behind. (I'm trying to nutshell this for now, I'll go in and revise it later....) Their daughter was born blind and deaf. Brain scans revealed her brain was very active in other areas, and had formed a gland behind the optical nerves. Overtime they started noticing things. The girl would humm and make noised to things coming on the radio or TV's. She could manipulate TV's with her mind, changing channels. At a young age she was crashing computers in her sleep. Her parents had their dear friend take Sophia under his wing to get her to where she could see and hear properly and communicate so she could develop social skills. Her final surgery was near and her parents dropped her off. The last of it would be complete, the 3 year old could be somewhat normal, and a processor would allow her to control her power better. According to Dr. Taylor, the scientist and god-father, her parents crashed and died on their return trip to see the girl... but that's a story of it's own. In highschool she was a brilliant student but showed more interest in physical matters. She wanted to go against the brains or brawn stereotype, along with female stereotypes. She took as many martial arts classes as she could fit in her schedule, on top of ROTC. When she graduated she joined the marines. Now she's done her time in the service and living in Caball to get used to civilian life. Extra Notes: Tattoos- A plus on one wrist, a minus on the other, a keyhole with gears inside on her chest, an "X" that looks like its made of a circuit board on her left bicep, bio-mech on her left thigh... Sample Post: Sophia had just finished settling into her room, showering and changing after her trip to this city. If anyone had noticed her before on her way in she'd have been in her marine's fatigues, "Whitla" being the name on her cover and top. Out of the bulky clothing she looks rather normal. A striped dress of black and white bells out at the skirt, reaching her knees. Black heels click on the floor, laced socks and pearls giving her a vintage look. Her hair is curled and long, nearly platinum. Her nearly transparent brows give the impression that it's natural. She walked to the counter, hoping for an attendent, but gave a sigh at the "At Lunch" sign. She turned, glancing around the room with doll like eyes, pulling out a cigarette from a small black purse. She had balls wearing such an outfit with the multitude of tattoos and scars covering her. Edited by mf manda, Jun 14 2012, 05:50 AM.
