The school cafeteria was built to reflect one of elegance and refinement. The theme is neutral colors and low lighting to allow for dining pleasures. Each round table seats six comfortably. The food is provided by the best catering services that allow for your taste buds to experience the exquisite foods from around the globe while still being modern enough for a teenager to want to sample. While the school does allow for conversation, the students are assigned tables. If someone wants to join another table for that particular period, they must be invited and if someone wants another to join their table, they must invite that person and have their invitation be accepted. Remember, the tables are designed for six and other members of the table may not be too pleased by the person you have invited...

Like any high school, those who break the rules suffer the consequence. They have to endure hours upon hours in a boring old classroom designated for detention. Better have some homework to do or a book to read to occupy your time in that tiny desk because talking is strictly forbidden!

Being that this is a school full of teenagers that are still learning how to handle their new special abilities, injuries are bound to happen. Thankfully, the school has prepared itself with this by providing a well-stocked, sterile, and top of the line Medical Center. The school has equipped itself with medical equipment that will diagnose any physical ailment and the medication needed for recuperation. The school also hired only the best of the business staff, including members with the ability to heal others. Feel you are catching a cold? Have no fear; the Medical Center has what you are looking for.

This here is the top of the line high tech computers on a well-crafted server that is likely to keep juicing even after a power serge caused by one of the abilities. There are three tables made of cherry wood that sit within this room. Eight computers sit on top of those beautiful tables, making it a total of twenty-four extremely good looking computers that are available for the students use. Personal computers are allowed in the dormitories, but if your parents refuse to buy you one, at least you know the school takes very good care of you.

The library is rather traditional in appearance. Entering into the library, one can be awestruck by the amount of endless books that appear before them on shelves. Books upon books are stacked from floor to ceiling. Every subject could be found within these walls of books, old and new, dusty or overused. Any book lover would squeal at the sight presented to them that is not just one floor, but two. A spiral staircase can be seen upon entering. It’s beautifully carved railing with intricate details could make anyone stop and appreciate the craftsmanship as they walk up or down the staircase. Enjoy your library to your heart’s content, but remember, use your inside voice!

This room is more than just a room. It is actually several rooms. Each room is specific to the ability your character may possess. The reason they are separated is because inside the room has materials to help protect the user, others in the room, and items to help control your ability. This is the best place to learn your ability! Use it wisely…

This is the recreation room! This is the place where the students can gather around at their leisure and play games, lounge about, or throw a party. Some of the games include billiards, darts (with plastic tips, of course), card games, board games, and gaming systems. The room has plenty of tables and seating to go around.

As you walk through the large double doors and enter into the front hall of the school, you might first notice the beautiful marble floors beneath your feet or the characteristic walls of cream colored tops, hardwood bottom and crown molding, or perhaps one might even the classic art that decorates the walls. Those less observant might only notice the front desk to the left of the door where the receptionist greets visitors and helps provide information to those in need. Beyond the front entrance, further into the room, are the grand marble stairs with breathtaking chandelier. These are sort of stairs that one would find in a palace. To the less appreciative, they are just stairs; however, they may find the treat to the right of the stairs more worthy of their attention because that is where the Frappuccino Bar is located. Situated in the corner is a long bar where a student or staff member can order a delicious drink or pastry of their choice either to go or have a seat at the bar or have a cozy chat at the two seated tables. Just remember, a dollar goes a long way, so don’t forget your wallet!

This is a high school! And with high school comes activities and gym class. The activities area is where all the sports, cheerleading, hackysack, and any other group activity you can think of takes place. There are varies areas for your use, basketball courts, swimming pool, tennis courts, volleyball courts, a baseball field, and a soccer field. Enjoy the space and be sure to take care of your Activities Area.

Ashton Academy resides in one of the Suburbs of New York City. The students are allowed to travel into the city whenever they would like (a privilege they should try hard not to take for granted). Freshmen and Sophomores must use the buddy system whenever they go into the City, but Juniors and Seniors may head out on their own. Don’t worry, the staff will always be watching and we’ll know who’s not on school grounds by the sign out sheet everyone must leave their John Hancock’s on!

Holidays and summer vacation are bound to come around and even family time can lead to drama time! Have plots that involve your family? This is the board to showcase them!
