Linguistics consider there are 8 universal languages, which are:
1) Arabian (Islamic World),
2) Dutch (Economic, Southern Africa, North-America,...),
3) English (Economic, North America, Australia,...),
4) French (Cultural, Africa, Canada,...)
5) Japanese (Economic, Western World),
6) Portugese (Tourism),
7) Russian (Political, East Block),
8) Spanish (Tourism).
This is the commonly consensus, sometimes Chinese, German and Italian are also taken in it. But Chinese is only known in China, while German and Italian are only in EU.
Also, sometimes Spanish and Portugese are rejected, because they are not realy from economic importance in the world.

Top Universal Languages during time:
> Greek > Latin > Franconian, Latin > Latin, French > Spanish > Dutch > English > ... .

As you think that Portuguese is a combo of Spanish & Italian and I find that Italian sound gay & Spanish sucks. What should I think then off Portuguese?

So Nike, speaking some Portuguese?

Actually, no. I only know a handful of words and I would have no idea how to spell them.

But I'm glad you think my forefathers spoke a language that's a mix of gay & suck. :P
