Well this sort of took forever, so I'm sorry.

So we're going to be doing some RPing - about time! Forest Grove and Tiamii are going to be at the center of this conflict, so hopefully everyone is in an alliance. Since there's been some changes, we're going to focus primarily on the escalation that's happening between the two.

As an alliance and as a nation, each player is supposed to formulate and come to an understanding of precisely what to do when the event occurs. This is a black box scenario.

A good three step action plan that you should have is:

  • Figure out what you will do if it escalates into a war
  • Figure out what you will do if one side capitulates early
  • Figure out what you will do if your nation's policies do not align with your alliance's policies

The first part of this assignment is to list your action plan in this forum. The second part will be RPing it!

If this conflict escalates into war, the Federal Republic will be reserved and hesitant to voice it's opinion concerning the conflict. However, if confronted with a choice, Alenahtl will likely side with Tiami for territorial reasons.

If Tiami surrenders to Forest Grove, the Federal Republic will attempt to pick up the slack for Tiami and finish out the war. Not stopping until Forest Grove surrenders or Alenahtl is forced to capitulate. But if Tiami succumbs to whatever the demands of Forest Grove may be, Alenahtl will likely release a statement commending for both of it's neighbors for coming to an agreement.

I have yet to find an alliance at this point. But I am on the cusp of forming one, it's purpose still not decided. Though Alenahtl would likely attempt to unify the alliance in terms of policy concerning the conflict, if the alliance cannot come to a consensus then withdrawal would be considered.

Short and sweet. It would take much to draw Alenahtl in but if the Alenahtl did get involved then it would heavily pursue it's interests.

Here is the general scenario for a Forest Grove-Tiamii war...

Not too many decades ago, Forest Grove broke away from Tiamii because our religious rights were being trampled upon in the most bloody and brutal manner possible. This triggered a civil war, with the western islands eventually winning their independence.

Since then, Forest Grove and Tiamii have been in a state of cold war, which will eventually boil over into open war, where Forest Grove will attempt to defend its existence, which is why Forest Grove will need allies.

For those of you who are curious, this is the religion that Forest Grove practices, (though stripped of any link to North Korea, obviously):
