That was my breakfast today, coffee and a glazed doughnut.

That sounds like a good breakfast Geezer. One day I'll be able to do that without worry. I like coffee it's just the caffeine and oh the creamer. *shudders* I'm ok with using a teaspoon or under of real sugar and up to a packet of splenda ( doctor said if I was going to eat sugar this is what I should have). For some reason milk and cream and just dairy products in general frighten me. Anyway how has your day been?

Luke, my sister is always trying diet crap and never losing weight. She buys 2% skim milk to cut calories. That is fine for cereal, a glass of milk or cooking but she only uses it in coffee. Usually I use whole milk but I prefer cream when I have it. I usually buy milk so I will have it if I want cereal, it is a compromise I make. What I have found is the more milk fat there is, the less I use and the better the coffee. I use more milk than cream and when I am at my sisters, I have to use almost half a cup of milk so I have a cold cup of slop.

I think this is why my sister and most people have trouble losing weight: how do you profit if there are fewer calories by volume but you have to increase the volume? It seems to me, you get the same amount of calories, it just costs you more to get them. Diet pop is similar, why is it still on the market, why do people still drink it? It has been shown to cause health problems and it has been proven by many studies over many years to actually cause weight gain.

I support healthy eating: less meat, less sauce, more fibre. Have you ever heard of "perimeter shopping"?

Hi Luke! *pats* How's you?

@Geezer: I certainly hope you enjoy it as much as I did :)

I love that birthday banner, whoever is responsible for it XD

No I've never heard of that.
I don't understand diet pop and usually only use it to bloat my stomach when I'm fasting. The doctor said I can have it occasionally and it wouldn't hurt. I use lower calorie items almost always except in my cooking class. But if I'm going to eat the same amount and one item has less calories then why not go for the lower calories? Maybe it's the disorder talking. -shrug-

@Suzu: I'm alright besides the stuff I messaged you about. Can't I have 10 minutes?

Hi Suzu, the prologues are interesting and promising so I hope to as well.

That is something I have been playing with despite my lack of coding. It shows in the rather sloppy installation. I was proud I figured out how to center it with html. Moving it up so it does not enlarge the background is way too far beyond me.

I just replied to your message, Luke.

@Geezer: Well, I like it very much, and I know I wouldn't even have the first clue how to put it there at all.

@Suzu: Replied to your message and I guess you're right. That's why I have so many people helping me stay on track. This will all work out one day.

Perimeter shopping is where you go around the perimeter of the grocery store and avoid the aisles. Real food such as fruit, vegetables, meat and bread are usually against the walls around the perimeter. Processed food, snacks and such are in the aisle section. When I can cook for myself, I cook low fat so yes, low calorie is good but depending on "diet" food is often deceptive. It often leads to higher calories and weight gain. For example, the coffee thing. When I make coffee at home I use .75 - 1 ounce of milk, at my sisters place I need 4-6 ounces of 2% milk to make a tolerable cup of slop. That hardly reduces calories. Also, my sister uses all these diet things but still cooks the same way, lots of fatty meat. She would do better to give up diet crap and learn healthy shopping and cooking.

I am glad you like it Suzu, I have done enough work on these sites that it is not that hard to figure out if you spend some time playing with it until it works. I just try to make my mistakes behind the scenes or when no one else is around. I think I erased my last mistake and got it right just before you could get here to catch me.

I get what you're saying but at the same time my thinking makes sense in my situations. Everybody's different though. Plus it's easier to keep down if I can trick myself into thinking it's better for me. The mind is a twisted place.

@Luke: Fair enough. I've been told I can be hard to get along with.

Not much of anything here. My mother woke me up to take my medicine, took it, went back to sleep. Crawled out of bed sometime around 4, showered, came here.

Yes, youth has innocence and age has deceit.

I had to stick around the house for the phone and the net today so I spent most of the day working online Luke. What did you do with your day?

Nothing except school and a walk home here. Nutrition class was fun til some girl told me I don't do anything. I wanted to punch her in the face but I didn't.

Punching can be effective, but overdone. If not paddling, I think I would have preferred to spit on her. People don't expect that as much.
