Hmmm... I'm all alone.

*looks around boredly*

*walks over and switches on jukebox. Proceeds to dance like an idiot*

No you are not, I was posting music in the music section.

The baby looks adorable (old post). Just an idea but next time you are babysitting her, I have a get-away-car, we could steal her.

Sorry I have not posted much of late. I have been watching things here but I have also been feeling terrible. Now I am getting a cold or flu on top of that and have spent pretty much all my time in bed since Thursday.

Very interesting dance Alora.

Music, you say? Perhaps I shall take a look.

I'll have to think about that. Although it would be better if it was a big truck. The baby loves big trucks- or "big crucks", as she calls them.

I'm very sorry to hear that Bruce. I certainly hope you recover swiftly. It sounds dreadful.

Why thank you.

If you do, I hope you enjoy it so you have not wasted your time.
I could talk to my boy, he drives big trucks, usually 18 wheelers.

It sucks not having energy and getting a virus is never fun.

You are welcome I am sure.

Hello Jordan, we have been wondering about you. It is good to see you again. I hope you will be here later when Dylan gets here, I know he will be glad to see you and sorry if he misses you.

I will, I've just been busy. A lot. Seems like I get on when nobodies on and then I forget to come back on when Dylan comes on, but yeah, I will stay on for a while. :p How're you? and I missed you.

She would love that. She would also settle for a get-away horse.

To be sure. I hope it is not as torturous as it probably will be.

Hello Jordan.

I have been very tired, hopefully it is just my chronic fatigue returned but aside from that, well. How have you been and how are you doing in school?

Sadly I do not have a horse.
Unless I stole one.
I do know a stable nearby. I don't know how long it would take to get that far southwest on horseback though.
So far the virus has rendered me too close to comatose to be much bothered by my condition. At least when I drag myself from bed I have managed to be fairly productive.
How has your day been?

Eh, well school's alright got like straight B's but then Geometry kinda messed it up. Lol. I've been stressed, because last Tuesday my grandfather got in a car accident and had a stroke, and the doctors said he's not gonna make it, so I've been at the hospital back and forth all week/weekend.. Didn't have school today which was good in some cases, but I have a ton of homework that I'm too lazy to do, because I decided I needed to catch up on here.

Good point, that's something to take into consideration. Midgets could also more easily track us on horse-back. A truck is better.

Do try not to strain yourself too much when you do get up.

It has been most excellent. Aside from my mother. But I am able to ignore her presence for the most part at this time.

I know the feeling. One year I had a dream year with easy subjects so it was my only year in highschool with an A average only to have it ruined by history which was probably my strongest subject that year. Any other year I would have been exceedingly overjoyed to get straight B's.

I am sorry to hear about your grandfather, I hope he will be comfortable for however much time he has left.

It is difficult to get motivated for homework. I do not particularly believe in it to begin with. So that is your opinion of The Lounge; it is better than homework?

True, it is scary what they can do with a trace of scat and horses tend to leave much more than just a trace. I believe the word would be copious.

I try not to and I try to spend as much time in bed as I can. For the most part I get up to eat or for medical appointments.

Good to hear you are having an excellent day. Are you wearing your glasses to get used to them? They look nice. Good luck developing your ignoring skills.

Oh yes, it's truly terrible. I have unfortunately been around a few horse before as well.

May your suffering cease and all your grapes be exceptionally juicy.

Not at the moment, I don't need them to see the computer screen at this distance. Thanks much. I'm trying, though at times it's not easy.

Oh my, it must be at least a couple of months. Neither of us has been here much of late.

I once had a four legged mountain saddled for me which was adventure enough however it then appeared to want to attempt mounting my wifes horse while galloping. It did not seem to be aware of the impossibility of this. Or that he would crush my wife had he tried. In retrospect...

My grapes are a bit aged to be exceptionally juicy. Or was that a metaphor?

Do not forget to keep wearing them though. True, annoying people tend to be loud which makes ignoring them difficult.

No, I am not the frankless man. A frank is a frankfurter which is a wiener so I can assure you I am not the frankless man. Yes, I finally got to read Terry Pratchett. I had put the book out of site and therefore concentrated on other books I had to read. I could not believe it when they asked Moist that question. And of course I immediately thought of you.

I feel I am far too amused by the mental image of a one horse attempting to mount another at full gallop. I only rode a horse once, at around six years old.

I meant grapes literally, as in the fruit. I had been thinking about eating some. Strangely I no longer have the desire.

Will do. Exactly. It is hard to ignore a person singing in your ear at full volume. It is even harder to ignore them if they attempt to get your attention by blowing into your stomach as though you were a baby. (had I been any less asleep, I think I would have thrown a punch)

I was wondering if you'd ever gotten around to reading it. Are you enjoying it thus far?

You have to go back and read Suzu's post to me to catch the references. Except for the book part with refers to a book she recommended some months ago.

It is somewhat less amusing at the time if you are riding one of the horses. The entire ride seemed to be me bracing my feet in the stirrups while pulling as hard as I could on the reins. I believed myself to be too young to be a widower at the time. Once more in retrospect...
While I have yet to ascertain if I can move mountains I did learn that I was capable of at least slowing down a moving mountain.

I cannot quite put my finger on why it is but I do seem to have that effect on people.

With me it works the other way, I have been known to throw a good punch while sleeping. I gather I am also blatantly honest in any opinions expressed at such times. I have no regrets.

I found it shortly after I got sick and have been reading nonstop when time permits. I have been enjoying it immensely and have it finished. I have one or two pages left for the conclusion which I will read when I go back to bed. Then I will look at selecting my next volume.
Speaking of going back to bed...

For some reason that reminds me a of a story my late grandmother once told me about an older and slightly insane relative of hers and his first experience trying to control a tractor. He was apparently screaming "Whoa!" at it repeatedly as though it were a horse and just riding it in circles around the house. Curious as to if you have risked riding a horse again since then.

I have been known to occasionally answer questions in my sleep but have never been told that I have done anything terribly offensive.

I'm very glad you like it. It's probably still my current favorite by Terry Pratchett. Do rest well and dream of large cabbages.

It depends on how much homework he has and what other things he is doing. University life usually makes your life busier.

You have slightly insane relatives too? Yes, I love quadrupeds so I have ridden since but not lately. Horses, like yachts are not a hobby for poor people.

My family like most humans are offended by truth. My language can also be quite earthy when you piss me off.

Yes, that was my concern: it is always a mixed blessing when your introduction to someones work is their best piece. It shows you how high they can ascend but then anything else will be somewhat of a letdown in comparison. Ah yes, the importance of cabbage. Most people underestimate it.

Goodnight people, I shall see you anon.
