I'm unsure what color...and if it was I was thinking maybe a slight highlight. It's finally "thick" probably not what others see as thick but my hair dresser finally likes playing with it and you can do things like braid and stuffs. My hair is finally healthy and I'm so paranoid about it. Like they cut my rubber bands (gum bands but I know no one else will understand that one) out of my hair today and I like almost cried because I was sure they were going to accidentally cut my hair. I'm thinking my hair chalk I have would make me more comfortable.

I'm certain something will turn up Mia, prom is too big a season for them to ignore it. Have you seen our new art yet? I have a feeling you may like it.

I see the similarity.
There is nothing wrong with liking yourself Lyssa, we should be content with who we are.
Skorts they call them now, an ugly name I think but when they came out in the seventies they were called scooter skirts, a much nicer name. True there are differences but there are differences in the current Ford Mustang from those I grew up with, they are still Mustangs.

That is probably a good idea. With the damage your hair sustained it is probably best to let it regain it's health before dying it. Try to use mens hair dye if you can get it in the colour you want. It is safer, it has fewer heavy metals in it for colouring.

Alora, I really enjoyed Drood. It is intelligently written, educational and entertaining. It is also true horror. Largely a psychological horror story and I thought, very well crafted. Do you have a nightlight?

You should probably let it grow more before dying it then. If you do decide to, beware that any color where you have to bleach it beforehand will do more damage and make your hair feel dried out. After dying or bleaching, you should use extra conditioner when you wash it.

No, but I do have a large strong man in my bed, so that should help. (He's not feeling well today though. I'm waiting for a certain someone to come huffily knocking at my door for not being up yet even though I'm fully awake and keeping an eye on a loved one)

LOL that is an excellent point. For some reason it didn't occur to me that one can find big, strong men simply by looking in one's own bed. I hope your husband is feeling better soon and that you did not have to deal with H. R. Hufnpuff

He's usually somewhere in the general area so my night-time paranoia has decreased 90%. He appears to be sick I'm afraid, dizzy, congested and running a high-not-quite-fever body temp. As such I called him in sick at work. The manager says he will need a doctor's note but, touch luck, we don't currently have health coverage and we can't afford an appointment.

Decreased paranoia is always a good thing unless you are being stalked by a psycho. I think the man-flu is going around but hopefully it will just be a 24 hour virus. I so wish your country would join the twentieth century at least and get decent free healthcare. Or even something similar to ours. Seriously, this is one instance where the U.S. could easily surpass Canada.

True, thankfully I haven't been stalked by a psycho for some time, one of the few advantages of living in the woods (as long as one does not encounter Shia Labeouf, anyway). So do I Bruce, I often find myself thinking that exact thing. We filled out papers to apply for health coverage roughly a week ago but have received no response yet and we both need dental work.

That is one of the great omissions in our health care, we still do not have universal dental care for adults. Great video but why did you get me started on youtube??

I feel like we were really close to figuring out health care until Obamacare. Those who couldn't afford health insurance sure can't afford Obama's plan. I luckily have very good primary insurance however I have to have a welfare card to receive any services for my autism. The no copays is great and all but I've got stuck with some pretty crappy dentists, doctors, therapists etc because the good ones rarely take my stupid welfare. Luckily I was able to switch my welfare plan and can now see a really great doctor who has pretty much gotten me over my doctor anxiety. I hate it because I get screwed because I have to have it for a "disability" that's never going to go away. So from my standpoint Obamacare and this universal healthcare garbage just doesn't seem to work.

It's a test of your willpower, Bruce- can you remain strong against the temptation of YouTube?

I'm glad you can at least see a good doctor, L.

My hemorrhoids internet connection tendss to cut YouTube binges short. I am prone to spending far too long on TV Tropes, however.

ROFL, I meant to say "horrid" internet connection. I'm pleased to say that I don't have hemorrhoids.

Me too, that's why I'm glad I don't have them. I doubt anyone likes hemorrhoids. At least I hope they don't.

Lyssa, from my perch up here, Obamacare is not very good and it does create some problems. My understanding is that your president does not like it himself but overall it is an improvement over where you were as a country. Obamacare is not universal healthcare, nor is it a miracle; the miracle is that President Obama was able to introduce any kind of healthcare in a nation so utterly against it in any form. Why does your country so strongly resist things which should be common sense? Gun control, gay marriage, universal healthcare, seatbelts, equal pay, equal rights, slavery, my gosh you had to fight the worst war in the history of The United States before slavery could be abolished. Obamacare is not good but it is a start, work with it, improve it, make it evolve into the worlds best healthcare system. Until recently The United States of America were an example for the world and it can be again. If any nation can do it, yours can.

I may be changing my mind on President Obama as I had previously changed my mind on Justin Trudeau during his run for office. The President has just welcomed the Prime Minister to The White House where the two enjoyed a relaxed evening, if a state dinner can ever be relaxed, exchanging jokes about our countries. Let's hope these leaders can repair the damage done to U.S.-Canadian relations under the Chrétien Government and ignored during Stephen Harpers Administration. You can watch the comedy routine here. Justin the younger, appears to have made a much better impression on the U.S. President than his father did during his tenure as Prime minister of this Dominion. It is pretty bad when Tricky Dick refers to you as, "that asshole," and most of Canada nods their heads in agreement. Richard Nixon just may have been funnier than President Obama.

One last matter of business before I post and run:

Lysa and Jordan,
I liked your pictures. You are both very beautiful.
My brother has Obamacare. He had a piece steak caught in his throat last week. For 2 hours, it wouldn't go down or come up. He could drink anything without the fluid coming back up - especially Coke, which came up with foam. He finally ended up in the Emergency Room. The doctor put him out, then went down his throat with a camera. The camera poked the blockage onward to his stomach. The trip didn't cost anything. Of course, with Obamacare, there are drawback. He lost his primary care female doctor, whom he liked very much.

Dylan, I loved the movie, "Kick-Ass," so much that I watched it twice in the same week. The girl in it was awesome. The movie was intense but a might bloody. Thank you very much!

Hey peoples. :)
Thanx for remembering my birthday Geezer. x3
I had a nice day today. :) I mostly spent time with my family. My dad took me out to dinner too. Unfortunately the place I wanted to go too is permanently closed down, so I had to go somewhere else. I wanted lobster, but I ended up eating hot wings instead. :p My dad said he would take me out somewhere else next week though.

You are welcome dear. I do not have the time, energy or patience to wrestle with banners any longer, they seldom install as easily as they should for me but I do like to acknowledge birthdays when I catch them in time. Is that one of your drawings? Interesting story, or not but once upon a time, a long time ago. So long ago in fact, it was before even I was born. In a land far, far away; unless you are me in which case it happened right here, lobsters were considered poor peoples food. I was watching a doc on television one time, I cannot remember who or what it was about but I remember the story of two little girls walking to school and their mother had packed them each a lobster for lunch. One of the girls wrote about it in her diary and how they threw the lobsters away en route to school so the other kids would not know they had no money. Now you have a storey to share with your father over your lobster dinner.

Dale, I am sorry I did not e-mail you but it has been a slightly bumpy start to the year dealing with recurring bouts with the flu and all.

I didn't know it was that difficult. I don't know much about graphic design or banners, or anything really. I should learn though. I kinda know my way around Photoshop, but it's been a while. Anyway, I appreciate the sentiment! :3
And yes, it is one of my drawings! I drew it about a year ago. It was my first time trying out charcoal. My teacher bought me a set around the same week too.

I didn't know that! Funny how much changes over time. I'll have to research it later! :0

Ugh... I thought I was in the clear... had almost no symptoms while husband was sick. Husband is now feeling better and here comes the mucus build-up, sore throat and puffy eyes. Better than us both being horribly ill at the same time though, all things considered. *crawls in bed and stuffs tissues up nose* Tell me a stooooooory...

Once upon a time there was a cute, adorable little lamby-pie named Fluffy-Wuffles. Fluffy-Wuffles liked to hang around the grocery store...

Banners are not that difficult Mia, I make quite a few for my Deviant Art, it is the installation which is difficult. When we first moved to this site I would make banners for members birthdays and install them in place of the Lounges banner. If I wasn't online, Dylan would do it. Installation should be a simple matter of replacing a snippet of code in the sites html but it never works out that way which is why I have always insisted that coding is just a sham to disguise the fact that websites are actually created with magic. I later began installing the birthday banner under the normal banner to make it a little easier but that became problematic as well so I thought I would just post one in a reply for you. When I went to your profile to double check your age (never trust personal computers, they're evil) I found the drawing and was immediately taken with it. I thought it must be special to you if you had it as your profile pic. The idea was to make it look like a traditional birthday card and match the font colours to the art but I fudged a bit when I remembered that you like pink and moved the red for your name into the pink range.

Alora, I hope you are feeling better today. True, you don't want to both be sick at the same time. I am expecting you still feel miserable so I hope you are resting and start felling better tomorrow.

The Further Adventures of Fluffy~Wuffles

When we last left our little lamby-pie Fluffy~Wuffles, she was hanging around the groceteria. One day a nice lady came into the grocery store looking to find a little lamb. Perchance her name was Mary, I do not know but once more I digress. As luck would have it, the nice lady found our lovely little Fluffy~Wuffles. "My, what lovely looking lamb," she exclaimed and took Fluffy~Wuffles home with her.
