With last nights sad news about Leonard Cohens passing I am reposting this link to my blog.

That is going to be a wonderful gift Mia, I always enjoyed working with clay, I wish I had a kiln.

I would probably have that result if I voted for Trump also Jordan. Just teasing, get better soon.

Welcome back Allie, your periodic visits are always a pleasure.

I've gotten a little bit better. I'm just so sleepy, going to the lake though with my family. Hopefully I don't get sick with the ride. :( But I got a lot of ice cream.

I hope today finds you well, Bruce. How are you occupying yourself lately? Unfortunately, Canada is simply out of our price range. *shrugs* It's nice to dream, though.

Car trouble ahoy, flat tire yesterday and something appears to be wrong with the radiator. No rest for the wicked I suppose.

Thank you, I have largely been feeling more like my old self this week Alora. Not fully recovered, I still feel somewhat sick and lethargic but I have more energy, more ambition than I had. I have been aware of an improved outlook for a month or so and now my body seems to be responding as well. It feels good to feel good. I am trying to catch up on the family obligations I have ignored for the past year. Canada would be lucky to have you, I hope things do not turn out as bad as it seems.

Car problems can be never ending, I have had bad car problems and a bad car, I often felt like stuffing a rag in the fuel filler neck. I wish you luck.

Wonderful to hear Bruce, I can only hope for continued improvements. Family obligations tend toward being unpleasant, I wish you luck.

It was the water pump, not the radiator, thankfully it was a cheap fix.

I voted for Trump too. A lot of farmers are poor, and many factory workers like in Detroit and Milwaukee are out of a job, as their jobs were sent to India and China. So Trump captured their votes. These people were ignored by Clinton.

Is Canada thinking of building a wall, so people like Joy Behar, Rosie O'donnell, and Woopi Goldberg don't move to Canada? If I were Canada, I wouldn't let them in. They would be vagrants without a job. Or they would create a new liberal 'VIEW" TV show. However, if any guest disagreed with them, them might walk out of the studio, as they did here when guest Bill O'Reilly came on the show and said that a Mosque should not be built near the site where the Twin Towers collapsed in New York because "Muslims killed us on 9/11" by flying into the towers.

About gun control:
Like the cowboys of the old West, Americans love their six-shooters and rifles. With deer hunting season approaching, owning guns is a way of life. A few years back on the GN site, I mentioned that when I was 12 I wanted a Red Ryder BB gun, like the boy in "Christmas Story." I didn't get one; instead, Santa brought me a .22 rifle. Afterwards, I got a 20-gauge shotgun from the Sears catalog. Since then, I bought a 12 -gauge shotgun. My dad has a 12-gauge shotgun, a 30-06 Remington rifle, and a six gun.

Some Americans in the central states ride around with a rifle in the back window of their truck. Owning a gun is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Hillary Clinton wanted to tax gun owners and limit the number of guns they had. Once the liberals start taxing something, the taxes go up and up. The military also did not like Hillary for her reply "What different does it make," to the attack on an American Embassy in Bengazi, Libya that killed our Ambassador. She would have been the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, which is like a 5 star general.

I'm now in the military, and 1've had to learn to use a .45 caliber pistol in case that I'm transferred to the Infantry. We didn't practice the "quick draw" like the Westerns on TV in basic training; however, most boys my age were given toy six guns for Christmas or birthdays. As such, we practiced the quick draw on my brother and sister, who also had toy guns. At the time, the guns shot caps or darts. Now, toy guns are all plugged with a red plastic plug, so gangsters don't use them in robberies. As Western TV shows, like 30 years of Gunsmoke, have been translated into many language and shown in European and Asian countries, many people in those countries believe all Americans carry guns.

Canada also produced some shows like the TV series "Sergeant Preston of the Yukon" and "Border Town., both of which used pistols. Australia had "Quigley Down Under," a Westen-type movie filmed in that country.

So far, so good Alora. Though my car does need extensive work on the front end to pass inspection. I hope your car will hold together for you.

Canada is not a country to build walls too soon, we seem to understand that as soon as you build a wall some gopher digs a hole under it. Traditionally our solution has been to just send in a mounty to keep the order. Prime Minister Trudeau has already signalled his willingness to work with Trump. Whether you support him or not, Justin Trudeau is wise enough to recognize that the common goals of our countries are greater than whichever person is in office. The election is over, now it is time for everyone to begin working together once more.

Good answer. On the U.S. Mexican boarder, the Mexicans use professional tunnels, climb over and under fences, and use jet-skis to get across.

I've been to Canada 3 times this year. The biggest hurdle was at the Niagra Falls border. It took 4 hours to cross this summer. There just was so much traffic and tourists.

Going from Ontario to Minnesota and from New Hampshire to Quebec each took less than 1/2 hour at customs.

Happy Thanksgiving ! :) .

I've never been to Canada. But to live in Canada, don't you have to have all the requirements to live there? You can't just move to move. Lol. I wish I could see Niagara falls. I bet it's pretty! Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Yeah, so sad to lose Leonard Cohen. He wrote some great music.

What kind of ice cream Jordan?

Yep, so good to see you getting better Bruce.

Hi Dale, how're you doing?

Keep making the Lounge awesome! Mia, we need an update, how is everything going? Suzu, are you too far out for midgets? Wieners for bait. That's all I'm saying.

I'm doing OK. It's getting colder over here. I'm kinda surprised though; I thought it get colder, but the weather isn't that much different from California. Also, my dad starts his new job on Friday :0 His company wanted to keep him so they gave him a new position. It's cool, but he's going to have to travel around 'n stuff. :p Also, my job is alright. The first day I started, I think I hated it, but I've gotten pretty used to it :o
Also, I'm dying for the new episode of Yuri on Ice!! This week's was so good.. TT~TT
Anything new with you?

Wishing Everyone Yuletide Greetings

I'm sorry we don't have a Christmas banner this year but all I could find in a suitable theme was hard core and I'm not going there for Christmas. Maybe I'll see what I can do about that.

Hi Mia, I hope you are having a good Christmas with your family.
That's better. Not pretty but better. I think it pretty much sums up the Lounge for people. There's no point having this wonderful place if we can't have fun.
