I suggest we to do a Map of Barrayar. I know some of you will say "Go on, do it yourself", but I donwloaded some programs, started to do it, and 2 things happened to me. 1- I realised that some people may not like my map and all my work would mean nothing. 2- I had a Chronic atack of Lazyness. What do you think of having our region map? |

I suggest you just post a template and have people who want to be on the map post here. Then you can just paint them in and you don't have to put in so much work for someone to not like it. |

Mmm...I could make a map. The same kind of thing I was going to do for Westphalia. |

I like when the maps are unique. I worked forever on my NS Factbook Geography. I do like the idea of having a Capitol District. Any other templates or ideas? I will help as much as I can. Maybe we can have it where only people that apply get on the map. That way, if they are disappointed, they can just tell you to erase them. Any ideas? |

Make like the map and pre-divide the region, assign the teritories letters and have people choose where they want to be. That's my idea... |

Or ask people for basic geography concerning their state and accommodate that. Which will be more difficult, but the end result will be much more impressive. |

I'll make a new topic in this thread so it is easier to reference for the person making it? If whoever that it wants it. |

Okay, here's my map proposal. The first is to show you the kind of maps that can be made with the software I have. It represents a view from space. For all intents and purposes, this map represents land area equal to earth. Spoiler: click to toggle The second map is a coastline. I've divided the land into 230 different pieces. Each nation in Barrayar can select up to 5 adjacent pieces to make up their country, or 4 adjacent pieces, plus 1 in a seperate location as a colony. What I propose is to let each player post me the numbers of the pieces they want, and I'll colour their nation onto the map. Here's the divided map with the numbers. Spoiler: click to toggle Let me know what you guys think. |

I really like your Map, Keite. But I think you should consider each nation's geographic characteristics, I'm ok with anything, but Naybra, for example, it's a bunch of isles. I really like your map... I want numbers: 188-189-190-191-192-193 |

Hehe. They're both the same. The above one is just a different view. The coastlines are identical. Nerod, you may only select 5 pieces. You've selected 6. And Clever...hehe. Go ahead.
