Historical Notes and Technical Data The UDF-027 Javelin was developed by the newly founded Corona Military Systems to replace the failed UDF-021 Daughtress. Intended to be a simple, cheap, and easy to pilot MS, the Javelin quickly became a fan favourite in the military services, eclipsing mobile suits that were supposed to possess even greater performance margins; the Javelin was quickly adopted for mass production by the military and soon replaced nearly every single military model prior to its inception. The Javelin is equipped by default with a pair of 40mm fire-linked CIWS and beam sabers, along with an anti-beam combat shield for defence. The Javelin is lightly armoured, with engine output processed mainly to power its thrusters, giving the Javelin respectable mobility. The Javelin is so cheap to mass produce it is issued to even the most junior of all cadet pilots to train in, thus featuring almost no customization options whatsoever. It is however equipped with a rather insidious system design; the Mobile Jack System. Through the MJS, a superior officer could functionally forcibly takeover a junior officer's mobile suit and assign it relatively simple orders - like 'go there', or 'shoot that', to the Combat Assist System, bypassing the need for a pilot almost entirely. In combat, this is meant to primarily function to allow a superior officer to command numerous unmanned units and use them as expendable fodder to reduce actual human causalities, but also functioning to deter cowardice and mutiny. The Javelin is armed with an 80mm beam carbine which has a hybrid fire selector, enabling the pilot to alternate between a regular beam shot, or fire a lighter 3-shot burst. A long-range beam rifle can also be equipped, featuring only one power setting, but having a greater effective range, and is the primary marksman rifle for the Javelin. For assaults, the Javelin can also equip an ballistic assault rifle, chambered with CSM-patented 75mm APHE rounds via a 20-round magazine, and a more powerful 7-round clip-fed 550mm rocket bazooka. Additionally, the Javelin is compatible with a large variety of equipment, and can generally adapt even weapons or equipment meant for other UDF ms designs. The UDF-027 Javelin is so cheap its massed produced so widely that the MS is considered easy to get even on the black market. However, this does not discredit any of its internal design as it is considered to be really effective in combat for the amount of money one had to put into its construction. The Javelin proved to be the nemesis for many corporations, and eventually elevated the company to become one of the forefront industries of MS design and construction within the union. Its eccentric color scheme appears to draw critics to make assumptions that the bright colors were intended to mask the darker hues on the machines of superior officers and ace pilots to limit causalities for the higher-ranking soldiers. |

![]() General Data Model Number: UDF-035 Code Name: Shamrock Combat type: Mass production customizable high-performance mobile suit Manufacturer: Corona Military Systems Affiliation: Earth Reclamation Union; United Defence Force Availability: ERU/UDF/WP, and all affiliated organizations Roll out date: ?___? Technical Data Build Materials: titanium/ceramic composite Base Weight: 51.2 metric tons Max Weight: Unknown; estimated at 65 metric tons General Height: 18.3 meters Cockpit Type: Standard mono-pilot cockpit; mounted into torso block Sensor type and Range: multifunction radar systems, effective range: 17,000m unassisted Power Plant: Ultracompact fission reactor; gross power output unknown Weapon Data Special Features:

Historical Notes and Technical Data Manufactured by CMS for the UDF's corporation pilots, the UDF-035 Shamrock was intended for commanders and ace pilots. Following the trend of the UDF giving preference to pilots of that category some level of authority over how they customize their own mobile suits, the Shamrock was designed from the onset to be customizable for any and all intents and purposes the operator desired. To faciliate that need, the Shamrock is equipped with a Mission Adaptor Unit, allowing for field stripping and repair of components, on top of allowing the Shamrock to equip variant 'wearable' attachments and/or components that either serve as replacements or add-ons for the mobile suit's various limbs and equipment. This gave the Shamrock an extensively wide variety of capabilities. On top of possessing greater performance compared to conventional mobile suits of its class, it could be rapidly field-stripped and given equipment to suit the role it had to play during its next mission. This however caused logistical problems at first, as its limited use in the UDF military meant that very little spares and conversion parts could be acquired in a timely fashion, and often those parts that were passed over to the machine that actually needed it, was in a substandard state. At one point, the Shamrock project was considered to be scrapped and be redesigned from scratch, although it was quickly made famous when the Stratos Team, a group of corporation test pilots joined the project and quickly advanced its development by leaps and bounds. The Shamrock features all the technologies found on the fundamentally basic Javelin - in fact, the Shamrock features the exact same equipment, except for a newer anti-beam shield that features a greater surface curvature to enhance odds of deflecting stray shots. The UDF-035 Shamrock was later adopted by the military after various corporation pilots vouched for its performance, and a full scale logistics train and support doctrine was set up to provide speedy support of attachments and equipment. ![]() General Data Model Number: WPM-05 Code Name: Jinx Combat type: White Patriarch Manufacturer: White Patriarch Military R&D Affiliation: White Patriarch High Order Availability: White Patriarch Military Forces Only Roll out date: ?___? Technical Data Build Materials: titanium/ceramic composite Base Weight: 70.0 metric tons Max Weight: Unknown; estimated at 65 metric tons General Height: 19.0 meters Cockpit Type: Standard mono-pilot assimilator cockpit; mounted into torso block Sensor type and Range: multifunction radar systems, effective range: 23,000m unassisted Power Plant: Ultracompact plasma gas-cloud generator engine; gross power output unknown Weapon Data Special Features:
Fixed Weapons :
Optional Hand Carry Armaments :
Historical Notes and Technical Data Designed and manufactured by the White Patriarch R&D Unit and supplied to the White Patriarch military forces, the WPM-05 Jinx symbolises the entirety of White Patriarch technological supremacy over its enemies. Developed an unknown time prior to the UDF-WP War, where the WPM-05 was first mass manufactured and deployed for combat. Equipped with an unique plasma gas-cloud generator engine which enabled the operator to freely manipulate to his advantage, the intricate design of the Jinx translated to high performance ratios that even the most advanced mobile suits used by the UDF then couldn't possibly compare to. The Jinx's design is based around the core concept of its four plasma cloud regulator devices, arrayed into a pattern of an X-shape centred around its chest, where the cloud engine is mounted. Coupled with its electromagnetic Plasma-cloud Conduit System (EPCS) the Jinx could manipulate the output of those regulator devices - plasma gas, into any shape or form; from forming a powerful plasma field to defend itself, or enhancing the firepower of its default ranged weapon: the 120mm high-energy rifle by forcibly magnetising its barrel to draw plasma gas to its barrel to create a far more powerful shot (though, not necessarily longer in effective range on its basic setup). However, what made the Jinx so effective was the Nervous Assimilator System, which turned a high performance MS into a monster machine. Accomplished by allowing the machine to 'assimilate' the operator, which in turns allows central control mechanisms to be embedded directly into the transmission system and turns the MS into something like an autonomous nervous system, where normal body posture is controlled not by the pilot's brain, but by his nervous system localized in the spinal cord and such, allowing not only greatly improved agility but also responsiveness in combat scenarios, bearing greatly increased efficiency and minimising difficulty of mastering the control systems. In terms of such control systems, a rookie in a Jinx is likely to easily trounce a veteran pilot in a similar machine without the assimilator system. However, it is not without drawbacks; pilots that continuously make use of the Assimilator system forces gradually begins to experience neural sclerosis, and eventually paralysis and crystallization of the central nervous system. It is known as the assimilation phenomenon, and was originally known to be incurable without long periods of rehabilitation away from the usage of the system. Despite this, the White Patriarch military continued the usage of such systems, regularly rotating operation shifts between pilots to maximise their service longevity. However, some pilots, especially aces in service with the Praetorian Guards in particular have been known to continue pilot careers until they are rendered completely ineffective for service; service records of these extraordinarily devoted soldiers easily number in hundreds of confirmed kills. The Jinx's widespread usage of the Assimilator system means rotation of pilots limit the gross amount of mobile suits the White Patriarch can sortie in a single moment, but their ability to easily dwarf their opponents in performance means that the UDF's horde tactics never really worked, and served only to throw more cannon fodder into the grinding machine. A typical pilot during the UDF-WP War averaged 30 to 50 confirmed kills in his service, compared to the UDF's survivors, who often had to gang up on a single machine to take him down. The Jinx is equipped with only two types of weapons, the 120mm high-energy battle rifle as the primary default weapon is similar but far more powerful than a conventional beam rifle due to the muzzle bore, and features an optional long-barrel attachment which the operator could mount to increase the rifle's effective range (not necessarily increasing firepower). What made the rifle so effective was the fact it could interact with the EPCS to 'supercharge' shots that could deliver devastating damage on hostile forces, turning what seems to be an anti-MS weapon into an anti-ship rifle. The fact is that the weapon was so effective in its designed role that decades after incorporating design concepts from UDF military forces, the rifle remains unchanged, as one of the cornerstones of the Jinx's combat strength. Optionally, a 300mm plasma missile launcher can be outfitted for the Jinx. It is the only type of MS-grade munitions the White Patriarch military produces. It is a solid state missile projectile that explodes in a sensor/timed fuse, creating a plasma blast capable of carving out entire sections of a warship clean from its hull, making it extremely effective against hardened targets or heavily armoured masses. After the White Patriarch's surrender, the Assimilator system was brought over to UDF's Corporation R&D branches for piecemeal analysis. The morally unethical design, combined with the percieved notion that no sane pilot under the service of the UDF could willingly subject himself to piloting a machine that would kill him even if he wasn't in a fight, eventually caused the military to discard the project and seal it's development. White Patriarch after the war also began using UDF machines, and started to part ways with their long relationship with the Assimilator. These days, Jinxes see operation primarily either by elite pilots of the White Patriarch, or serve under the Praetorian Guard as bodyguards of the High Priest.
