Given Name: Clayton Zukowski Alias: Clay (Never really bothered with a secret name yet) Furcadia Alt: Clayton Zukowski Species: homo-superior Gender: Male Age: late teens, 17 Mutation: Wasp body. His body alters with aspects of the wasp, strengthening his body and senses. Exoskeleton: Several parts of the body are covered in insect armor. It can absorb most blunt blows and redirect inaccurate blades, and reducing how much damage a blade will do. Gunfire will get through most likely, but a glancing shot won't bother him like it would a normal flesh humanoid. Includes - Torso, abdomen, arms down to wrists, legs down to ankles. Wings: Flight is recently available to him. He can fly for about 5 minutes before needing to rest, about the speed of a bicyclist. He can achieve even greater speed using roller blades (or other wheeled devices) and directing all force forwards with his wings. Strength: Not superhuman, but exoskeleton makes him sturdier, and can handle more force on his body. Meaning, his body can put more force behind, say, a punch, because the exoskeleton protects the flesh from damaging itself, and takes more of the backlash force, increasing what he can do without injuring himself. Senses: Eyes - normal human eyes mutated to compound eyes, black and insect-like. What is SEEN ONLY can be reacted to quickly. Slow moving projectiles such as a thrown object, fist, arrow, or slow moving car, can be easier to react to. Faster projectiles and ones he can't see, like a bullet, are not on his range of dodge-able objects. Antenna: Atop his head are two long insect antennae. They work as a strong sense of smell, but specifically towards organic and pheromone-based senses. Things that are more mechanical are not as easily sensed. (exe. He can track a person, but not a car) Stingers: On his forearms are naturally grown "bracers" of chitin. When triggered, a sharp stinger comes out and can inject someone with his poison. More information on poison in second section of mutations (worth 4 "stings"). Weakness: Flight can be taken away by taking away wings, once flight has been achieved. Eyes can be fooled by attacking where he can't see. Antenna can be overpowered by pheromone-based products, like colones or perfumes. N/A FUTURE MUTATION Secondary Mutation: Wasp Hive: Where his wings connect to his back, where a hive rests, full of wasps ready to be born. Wasps born from him are larger than the average, about 4 inches long, generic yellow/black colored, each one seems to be ever so slightly different in its coloring. They live about a week before dying off, to be replaced by others. (this is to be discussed) Poison: Each one carries a poison. Non-deadly, unless overdosed or allergic. It paralyzes the voluntary muscles in the body. A victim can still breathe, and will not die unless in a position that doing so would be deadly. (paralyzed in water, in a path of a moving vehicle, exc.). The poison can be resisted to a point, but if one remains in a position to be stung, building up in the body will make it harder to resist. (1 sting will not instantly paralyze, but can "slow" the area it has stung). Poison takes averagely 10 stings to fully take effect, can take a minute to take hold fully, or less depending on constitution or amount of poison in body. Lasts about 15 minutes, but can be re-applied during that time to maintain longer suppression. These wasps are under his control through a mental connection to them. Allies can be avoided while enemies can be targeted by a swarm. Types of wasps: Drone: 4 inches long, yellow and black, stands for most of his forces. N/A Soldier: Only 1 or 2 can be active at once. Only slightly bigger, and yellow more of a reddish orange. More potent poison, one sting from it can slow the whole body, counting as 4 drone stings. None have been created yet. N/A Scout: Much smaller than the others, and has little to no poison. Like the soldier, only 1 or 2 can be active at one time. Clay's connection to these are much stronger. While he can direct the others, Clay can see through the Scout's eyes, smell through its antennae, exc. Doing so Clay needs to focus, and can't do so while doing things that require concentration. Like running, swimming, complex flying maneuvers (can't dodge well). None have been created yet. More may develop in the future. No one knows how many he has access to at once, he often makes sure to hold several in hidden reserve. (Current cap 14 until further development, 2 can be created a day) Weaknesses: They are mortal. Can be killed. Just, there is a lot of them. They have size and mass. Clay can only carry a finite number before it is noticeable by others. Their poison is still an organic poison. Those who are immune to most poisons, or have VERY high metabolisms will burn through it quickly. They are "alive". Abilities that can sense life will notice them. They go by Clay's orders. If Clay is suddenly out cold, they will likely follow the last order given, for better or worse. Side-effect of secondary mutation: With so many connections in his head, a telepath can have difficulty getting through them to Clay. It is not impossible, but it can make things difficult for untrained or weak telepath to get in. He is still vulnerable to a mental attack, but his resistance is higher than the average due to this. (For a Telepath, it is like mentally trying to push through an angry swarm trying to grab the hive they are protecting. Alone, they are little bother, but in mass they are an obstacle.) Physical Description: 4'9", dirty blond hair sticks out of a beanie cap, lumpy and often having to be readjusted. Shades sit on his nose, obscuring his eyes from sight of others. Long jacket sits on his shoulders, pulled over a hoodie and jeans. Scar on left cheek, from cheekbone to back of jawbone. Personality: Religious, and protective. Sympathetic to those who have grown up as he has, hiding his body so not to be hurt by others. History: Born to a single mother in a commercial town, the quiet middle class family was complete with mother and aunt living together, with three children total. Highly religious, one of those families that went to church every Sunday. Clayton's mutations started around fourteen, first the eyes. The process was painful, blinding him for a day, where his mother kept him home. The eye doctor didn't know what to make of them, not thinking compound eyes could just be developed, thinking that he somehow had some chemical splash in his eye that hardened or crystallized to make that sort of effect. Unable to explain it, after many eye flushes and examinations later, Clay went home with more questions than he arrived with. There was a problem with CPS, as the doctor still thought it was some sort of chemical abuse applied to the child, but no sign of abuse could be found. The CPS worker seemed oddly accepting of the actual condition. (Possible mutant working within CPS recognized a mutation.) Sight back, the boy fine, no sign of abuse other than the odd eyes. A pair of mirrored sunglasses were used to cover up the oddity, mother worried about what might have caused this. Then the antenna showed up, Clay fearful of being poked and prodded, and of what was happening to him, immediately hid it under a hat as best he could. After about a week of this, of excuses of rashes or bad dandruff for not removing it at the table, his mother snatched the hat off, the two black antenna right in front of her eyes, sending the religious woman into hysterics. She kept him home, making arrangements with the school to keep homework and studies coming in, stating he was sick. Unable to go to school, talk to his friends, or go out alone, Clay turned to the only other option, the church which he was taken to each week. Diving into the bible, as if it may contain answers. Once the wings began to grow, he was practically dragged to the reverend of his church, where Clay got the rude wake up call that his mother believed this a punishment from god, that she didn't know Clay's father, name or anything. (unlike the story of his father dying, which was a collaborated story where his aunt's husband's name was used, who had died in service) Reverend Stickly, not able to find any religious significance or any behavioral issue that might hint the boy was possessed, told the mother he would work with Clay in secret to try and figure out what was going on. Instead of being religiously interrogated, as Clay thought, the reverend instead worked with Clay in other ways. Helped with homework, spent time with him, acting more of a father figure than trying to discover if this was some supernatural punishment. With a new focus, someone to speak to and make him feel less like some monster, Clay fell more into the embrace of religion. Long coats and such were provided for him, allowing him to go outside, instead of carted around in secret. He learned some needlework, making some cloths for himself to properly fit his wings. At this point the exoskeleton began to spread. Not all at once, months split each addition. Painful, crippling, his overly thin body was shelled by form-fitting armor. At nearly the breaking point, Clay withdrew to home, refusing to go anywhere, his only visitor being Reverend Stickly, who brought friendship and church to Clay when he couldn't bring himself to leave for service. Time passed, Clay began to accept a little of what was going on as the changes slowed, not covering his entire body, but longer periods separated them till they seemed to stop. Night time became his friend, spending more time out at night than at home. With the privacy of others asleep, able to come out some more, he began to explore his wings a little. Though by now being home schooled, his only freedom being nighttime and the church, though mostly safe a deep loneliness settled on him, looking once more for a reason for this change, wishing to open up to others, but afraid of what they might do. Possible Future: Clay wishes to create a sanctuary for other mutants like him, who have been physically changed. There he will likely try to teach them to use their abilities for the betterment of others and themselves, he mostly wants to give them a place they can cast off their shrouds and not remain hidden from all, at least opening themselves up to others like them. As a note, WITH PERMISSION, his father could be brought in. He MUST look human or can appear human at whim, but his powers can be negotiated. Nothing is known of him other than human looking male mutant. Faction: At the moment, X-men. Wishes to help others like him, but can't with his current age and funding. Extra: Does paper routs, early morning. If other jobs open up to him that a reshaped mutant can do, he may consider it. Edited by Clayton, Aug 10 2014, 08:46 PM.

Yes, after a big delay and runaround I think this fits nicely! Thank you for dealing with us and making these changes without much fuss, though I know we weren't all on the same page there for a second. I can't wait to see Clay played now with us! yay!! |
