Seeing as how this is going to be the return of LN, I thought I'd make my first post actually productive by means of giving a few suggestions that might help the game overall. Some of these were talked of on the LN forums, some have not, so I thought it'd be a good idea to place them here: 1) Leveling experience- While the game is focused around grinding (and I am quite fine with this), some of the gaps seem to be a little over the top once you get into the 700+ range. To remedy this I was thinking a buff to medium, strong, and menos experience gains. This will make the leveling experience seem more fluid and not just fall off into senseless grind mode. It will also help bring people to the mid level range faster, bringing people into competitive play faster and more efficiently. 2) Endgame- The dreaded Endgame of LN, fact is... there really wasn't one. Once you got bankai there wasn't a real goal aside from leveling to stomp the competition, or be the most feared on CTF/Invasions. I suggest throwing a nice pallet cleanser for leveling up further. Maybe a cool passive pending on the race chosen, or additional abilities. It just seemed as if something should have been included there as people are still capable of leveling. 3) Guild House Takeovers- A great system that brought reason to having guilds and brought more competitive play to this PvP based game. Sadly, the reason behind doing it was targeted only at getting the exp from capturing or defending. The guild houses held no real meaning, they just gave a place to hang out as a safe zone for a small period of time. I'd like to see this expanded, a reason to hold these points and utilize them. Maybe have a place inside the gh that allows each member of the guild to summon npcs to grind on (once per capture), or a npc that gives a special buff like increased health regen while in the gh. On top of this I thought it'd be sweet to add in traps that could be bought and used to defend GH raids adding in more overall gameplay elements to utilize. 4) Invasions- It would be nice to have people able to build up funds for invasions, choosing to invest some of their own money for better defenses. This would bring more fun to invasions. Maybe a medal could also be given in regards to how much has been invested. 5) Kido- There have been a lot more kido in the anime/manga, it would be nice to see them in game. 6) New Races- Now that there are fullbringers, it'd be nice to see something like them implemented (obviously in the future, and not right away) 7) Mayuri's Release- An amazing release, dont get me wrong, but still lacking if you compare it to the rest. Sadly, this release even though good, does not tie into its bankai well at all. Why? Because the bankai does rei damage, but has no incentive to invest in the stat when you get shikai. A small tweak would be to bring back poison DoT, but have it be based on rei. Obviously being an on hit effect it would have to be toned down, working similar to how poison works now (Hits once, then goes on cd and you switch to the other to stun or vise versa). Doing this would make investing rei with Mayuri's release worth while and bring more build options to the release. 8) Rukia- A buff to the amount of rei damage it deals would be nice, even if it were a slight one. 9) Kenpachi Release- In bankai kenpachi's release should slash in front of him as well as two tiles out. This will lower the amount of kiting that is done with a melee release. 10) Sados - Sado was basically a master of hand to hand combat, and did not focus much on range (even though he had his blast) it would be nice to see maybe a chance to block melee instead of a chance to block ranged blasts (or include both). They should stand out as experts at melee. 11) Ikaku Release- Instead of his bankai countering while using spin, spin should increase the damage of the next attack. On top of this throw should be based on physical damage and not on rei, it's a throw after all. This will make it more realistic towards the manga/anime. UPDATE 3/5/12 12) Deltoro release- New ability and mechanic. Gore- Skillshot/charge attack in which the person with the release charges into the enemy dealing damage and maybe causing a movement impairing effect. This should bring it into line with the other ress. 13) Volcanica release- Maybe have a chance of dealing extra damage based on reiatsu when charging blast. This makes hybrid building an option, gives strength based a buff, and gives rei based a little extra to work with. 14) Gantenbainne (or however you spell it)- This release just needs some buffs to the damage it deals imo, maybe a longer cooldown if buffed 15) Harribel- For the love of god save this ress from the trash bin. The damage it deals is horrendous and doesn't benefit from any build regardless because it just doesn't have the damage output that benefits enough from rei.
