Coroner's Assistant

Character Name: Natasha Datsik Character Face: Ksenia Solo Character Race: Human Writing Sample: Here is a sample from an old role play I was in: Sad fact: lots of kids know how to use knives and guns. She had been one of them, but instead of pursuing a life of crime, she trained to be a self-defense instructor. This meant that while her friends were at dances and football games, she would be at the local YMCA teaching older woman how to defend themselves against attacks at night. Living in the city, muggings and robberies happened all the time, so it helped to know how to fight if need be. Along with self defense classes, she also worked at the local indoor skate park. She was the register girl, and luckily she was allowed to use the park for free and during closed hours. She did not own a car that was stupid in the city, so she learned how to ride a skate board. She was not the run of the mill type of girl, never really into all that frilly dance stuff, but she had to admit that dressing up was fun at times. She never really had been like the other girls, even at a young age. That was mainly due to her parents being killed in a drive by shooting near some store that would not pay the local gang their dues. She was two when they were killed; the only person who had really been there for her was her older brother, John. When their parents died, he took over as her guardian, making sure she did what she had to in order to succeed. He instilled a sense of power and strength into her, making sure she knew how to protect herself from people in case they tried to hurt her. Since she had not shared experiences with the kids to draw on besides the skate park, she worked there in an attempt to connect with people. However, there were a few moments at her job that she did not like. “Go ahead Polly,” crooned the girl’s mother, smiling with over plump lips. Too much collagen, she suspected. “Tell her about your skates.” Polly Snark was thirteen but wore enough makeup to rival a forty-year old whore. She stood there slouching, chewing gum loudly, and looking everywhere else but at her. The more Blake studied her, the more she had decided the girl had problems. Polly finally started talking just before Blake lost her temper. “Your sad excuse for a skate park scuffed up my brand new skates.” She said as she held up a pair of neon pink skates. It took all of Blake’s might not to laugh at the girl while she mustered up enough manners to speak. “Honey, this skate park is mainly designed for boards, not your pink skates. Why don’t you find a nice skating rink to skate in? Besides it is non refundable.” Blake said staring at the girl’s mother. “I’m sorry.” She said before she turned her attention to her magazine. She hated these pristine preppy girls and their mothers, what world did they think they ruled? She sighed as she shook her head ignoring the yelling coming from the mother’s giant lips. Lifting her head she stood up and moved to the door, opening it for them. “On that note, for that lovely comment and for calling me a bitch, you may leave now.” She hissed booting them out before she closed the door and locked it. Closing time, her favorite time. |

Wild Time Kitsune

Character Name: Colby Whittaker Character Face: Andrew Garfield Character Race: Kitsune Writing Sample: *Excerpt from a previous role play forum I was an admin for...this character was a vampire.* Damien leaned against his Harley as he stood outside the club watching those that had entered. He sensed her presence here, which was surprising to him, since this was the place Drake had his last effect on her. He grinned. Drake, so young and naive. He thought he was the best, he had the foolish arrogance of a vulnerable vampire. One that only relied on his beauty to capture those around him. Pulling his shades off he moved toward the entrance, not bothering with the line he looked to the bouncer and with his charming, yet dangerous smile he was gained entrance into the club. He glanced around and watched the crush of dancers gyrating to the pounding beat. Lights illuminated the dark building, periodically making those dancing light up, he smiled. Blood hunger stirred within him, restless for a drink that had nothing to do with the imported beer he just ordered once he made his way over to the bar. This place surely was rich with promise for a vampire. Drake hadn't been naive to see that. He actually was smart in choosing this place to collect his meals. Damien was sure hundreds of these dancers, these women would willingly allow him to taste their sweet nectar. His gaze focused on a young brunette, whose hips twisted and snapped to the frenzied music, just watching those sweet legs made his mouth water. What made his mouth quiver was her scent. Her blood smelled so infectious. The smell of her blood mixed with the light hint of vanilla made him grin, that must have been Rose. Moving he started to make his move over toward her when someone else caught his interest. Another girl, so obviously vampiric by her stance and her scent, she intrigued him. Her eyes caught him the most, more enticing then most vampire's eyes were. They held a certain amusement in them as she stood there that made him want to get to know this beauty of immortality. Taking his attention away from Rose briefly he moved over to the woman vampire and grinned. "You could kill a man with that gaze you know." He said his voice smooth, and husky. |
