You'd best watch out for these cheap imitations, and for a good reason. This topic teaches on how to tell a fake from the real thing.

1. Quality: One way of telling a fake Beyblade from a real one, is the production quality of its parts. A fake Beyblade's parts will be made of cheap materials, and will perform badly when launched. The same is with the launchers and other pieces of blading accessories, like Duotron Launchers for instance.

2. Packaging: Checking the packaging is another notable method of weeding out fake Beyblades. Packaging for fake Beyblades will be made of a different material than the packaging of the real ones. Plus, the artwork of the packaging can also give it away, as those for fakes will have slightly altered artwork from that of the real thing and even Chinese text, particularly for plastic-generation Beyblades. As for Metal Fight series Beyblades, packaging for the Japanese fakes will almost be completely the same as the originals (except for the company logo), and some would come with fake copies of limited edition Beys, like Bakushin Susanow 90WF Lunar Eclipse Ver. for instance. As for the American versions, the packaging of the fakes are vastly different than those you would normally see, and there would even be fake Duotron Launcher starter sets which come with two fake Beys. I almost forgot, the packages of real Beyblades usually have the D-Rights logo on them.

3. Companies: There are various companies in the world that manufacture fake Beyblades and accessories to fool people out of their money, and surprisingly, no-one is suing them for copyright infringement...yet, but there is a chance that someone will. Below is a list of examples of companies that makes those fakes, no rhyme intended!
Hongyi
TT Hongli
GG
PK
BAM
MDX (They manufacture fakes of the new Zero-G Beyblades)
Lian Fa
If you can find the logos of these companies on the packages of fake Beyblades, you'll know it! The companies that make the real Beyblades are:
Takara-TOMY (original creators)
Hasbro (American/European distributor)
Sono Kong (Korean distributor)
Mani Ltd. (Chinese/Hong Kong distributor)
New Boy (Middle Eastern distributor)

4. Terms: On the packaging for the fake American Metal Fusion Beyblades, there would be terms like "Super Gyro" , "Top Set Rapidity", "New Toy/"New Style", "High-Point"/"Super High-Point", "Super Battle", "Power Energy", etc. Note: Top Set Rapidity also appears on the packaging for certain Japanese fakes. Not only that, but Power Energy fakes have Bakugan Battle Brawlers attribute logos on the Face Bolts.

5. Spelling/Naming: Some fake Beyblades would have the wrong names, and some would have part of their names spelled incorrectly, 'nuff said.

Below here are some pictures of fake Beyblades, so you know what to avoid!

Those are definitely fake. Like the "Top Flight" has Tyson on it. They look so fake they absurd. "Storm Dragon" doesn't even have the storm wheel, thats a golden burn wheel. The "Top Rapidly" doesn't make sense having Hercules and Lightning L-Drago in the same set and having the Sol Blaze guys on the launcher.
