Ok, I'm either missing something or I am just simply a confused man. Where to start? How to roleplay? I looked around and saw some posts, spread out over several places in the forum, which I can relate since they are representing different locales, but what about chronological order? and where should I begin writing, and to whom? The confusion is probably because I'm used to setting up a forum quite differently, so I'm sure with some adjustment I can manage. ![]() /M |

I am at work so a more detailed reply will have to wait until I get home (and the GM may beat me to it :)). But I will throw out that I would be happy to have a thread with Zhenya and Riley. I have a good reason to have her show up in the herb shop. |

Hi! This setup can take some getting used to, but I think it allows a lot of flexibility. ![]() Where to start? Wherever you like! Is there a character, PC or NPC, who particularly interests you? Start by asking for a thread with that character, there's a great big event that just happened you can talk about, or any other topic you prefer! Chronological order seems to be determined by When Is This Convenient (frex: Doru is going to be out of town and off-camera most of the day 1/11, so threads with him need to happen either that evening or on another date. I want to start a thread with _______ so I'll PM the player (or GM) and ask, would you like to have a thread set on 2/11?) For what it's worth, I'd love to have a thread with you too, at your convenience.

Eeep, I've apparently not logged in her for a while. I was out of town last weekend, and then things just kept piling up. Sorry about that. Okay, to clarify, this kind of online game has a freer set up than does tabletop roleplaying for practical purposes. This GM does not have enough time to be a part of all the scenes occurring and it is not the intention that I be, either, as there is a bit more focus on character interaction than even the most drama-heavy tabletop game. Basically, players are free to start up a scene at any time and place where they can imagine that their characters meet up, whether they know each other or not, whether they have made na appointment to meet up or they run into each other by accident. The players, as far as possible, simply interact on a drama level. If either character should want to attempt something where the characters' intended actions are in conflict, or if the characters, whether alone or when in a thread together, want to do something where the outcome is not a given or the player does not have the information offgame on how something works or what is going on, then you contact me. I will try to reply a bit more timely than I have done this time... It is encouraged to have more than one thread at a time ongoing, as the timeline will move forwards to slowly otherwise. One will just have to take some care to make sure that events do not collide. It sounds like it would present a big problem, but it actually doesn't most of the time. So, when you feel up to it, I have a particular NPC I'd like to introduce to Riley.
