Name: Coldplay - Everything's not lost Power: Literature control Notes: Be sure to clear it with your GM for this stand or balance out the user of this stand in some way. Pretty good NPC material, but the anon's suggestion makes it sound like a mix between Rohan, Koichi and bohemian rhapsody's powers in a mixer machines. Which sounds Jojo enough for me. Spring like torso shoes, perhaps? Here is an stand description from the original anon and a relevant chain of discussion about it. From Anon: No.26566565 So I'm guessing either something along the lines of Ptah or Heaven's Door? I can live with that Followed by: 26568810 Everything's Not Lost is a humanoid stand, simply because I happen to like those stands the most. The passive powers it bestows upon the user is the ability to read and write in any language; as well as drastically speeding up the writing process itself. Everything's Not Lost power is that whatever the user writes or paints comes to life, but this effect only applies to words. For example if the user wrote the word fire than the words would behave as fire; shedding light and burning anything they touched. It starts off like that, just bringing into existence simple things. But eventually his power over his stand escalates, allowing him to create life. These constructs look like pic related, only less cartoony. More terrifying and realistic. Followed by: 26568948 So how does this sound as a power? Too strong, too weak? Need tweaking in any way? Followed by: 26568971 >>26568948 Sounds straightforward. Followed by: 26569075 >>26568971 And therefore not nearly JoJo enough. Followed by: 26569142 >>26569075 Only the villains powers need to be impossibly complex. Finally: 26569166 Yeah, that seems to be the trend. PCs: Versatile, low-key powers NPCs: Very strong, situational powers BBEG: Time powers King Crimson: How does it work |
