Well...that's pretty much it. I've provided a basic dice rolling system so far, but that's about it. Here is where we should discuss what we can have in this forum. We know we're going to be using our Tabletop template for stand stats and character traits, but what point buy would we use? Should we create templates for Ripple users and Vampires? What about the story? More specific rules on how each character should act based on their dice rolls? It's brainstorming time, people! |

Depends on the story really. Maybe start with a Low-power template to test the system out.
I think that was covered in the Tabletop rules. Stats and abilities are their powers.
Let's have two subforums - an ongoing Story with Parts, and One-Shots for ideas that don't fit into the canon and don't require recurring characters.
Perhaps set up some basic ranges of how the degrees of success work? Maybe go by 10s. |

It's really on a character-by-character basis. If you've noticed, different characters have always been on different levels, and there's no real way to reconcile them. At some point, someone will be fighting outside their weight class; it's going to happen. Also, as the rules mention, some characters simply aren't going to fit in the point-buy system as-is. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, since you get to encounter characters of numerous stripes. As for templates, there's expected to be some manner of baseline power(s) or capabilities that are encompassed, with more fine-tuning on an individual basis. I don't expect every single Ripple power to be statted out because you can't really do that. Plus, vampires don't have a hard set of abilities beyond the basics like improved strength and physicality, improved regeneration, the ability to drain blood via touch, and a fatal weakness to the sun and the Ripple. That's before you get into cyborgs and all kinds of junk. Ultimately, you have to play stuff by ear, see where things lie, and work from there. |

I was thinking that more of a mid-level point buy would be a perfect fit. Not too powerful, but not so weak that one would be crippled... Each persons power would have to be individually inspected, of course. As for story, I like Renauldo's idea, but maybe we could still have threads between two individuals be canon, and things that wouldn't fit into logic at all (Ripple users having friendly tea time with vampires) be non-canon. |

Are we pulling Stands from the threads, or is it all new here? |

Either way if you want, you could create new ones or use characters already created in the threads...at least that's my thought... |

Let's just not force ourselves along the storylines of the /tg/ parts. Remember that those are more of a thought exercise than anything else. |
