Damn it. Captain Hyuri of the second division hushed to herself, as blood began to flow from her chest. Her long bronze hair was wrapped up in a bun, as her rather bulky figure was placed against the wall. The setting was rather dark, all that could be seen was the captain's wounded body, and the white eyes facing her, hidden in darkness. What's wrong captain? Is this all you can do? I must say I'm disappointed. Hyuri spat towards the man's figure, before saying in a bitter tone. Don't you worry. You'll be getting yours any second now. She looked down in despair weary of the wounds the man had inflicted on her. Wondering if she was to ever see the light of day again. I know what you're thinking Kendin Hyuri. You're wondering why your Bankai has no effect on me, aren't you? The man paused for a moment. As a hand coated in darkness sprouted from underneath the woman's leg, before wrapping around her ankles, confining her in place. Well, it's quite simple. You didn't think I'd be the type to go into battle with a Captain without knowing of their Bankai, did you? Another hand sprouted from the ground, grabbing her other ankle, before yanking her forward, causing her to crash towards the terrain face down. No, you're smarter than that right? Once again he paused, as footsteps could be heard, and yet the man's eyes remained where they were. Twisting Moon Current is the name of your Bankai, isn't it? The ability is to send the opponent into a void, where they must confront the most tragic occurrence in their life over and over. Sending them back in time in a way, where you can simply kill them off in their weaker form. The problem is. I've lived way beyond what your weak ass Bankai could ever hope to reverse. The woman spat out blood from her mouth as she replied stunned. Impossible! I'm the only captain around from 3,000 years ago! My Bankai can reverse time for up to 3,000 years. There's no way a hollow over 3,000 years ago was this powerful! Who- The woman was rudely abrupted. Hollow? Don't fucking make me laugh. I'm nothing more than a measly Shinigami just like you. Don't you remember my voice? The man said as he finally emerged from the shadows and now stood over the woman. He had a giant hole in the middle of his stomach, and two ram like hollow horns, his hair was a glossy red, fashioned in a rather odd appearance. His eyes were cold, his white and blue jacket was rather mystical, as the captain found herself seeing her own reflection in it. Wait. It can't be. Ka- The woman's revelation was cut short by the Arrancar's claws digging into her cranium, effectively ending the tenure of the oldest captain in the Soul Society. The man looked down at his bloody claws, as well as the deceased captain, as suddenly the shadow area around them completely vanished. Don't worry Hyuri. For your death wont be in vein. The man said in a cold tone, as he found himself back within the seireitei where the true chaos was going on. There were Arrancar flooding through Seireitei engaging in combat with members of the Gotei 13. The red haired male was just only a fraction of the assault going on at the moment. The Seireitei was under attack! But that was just the beginning of their problems. A man with green skin stood atop a rooftop, looking at the city he would soon devastate. He looked to be in his early 20's, and wore black jeans and a beater, black gym shoes, and had long spiky black hair. Despite his green skin, it was easy to determine the man was human. You know Nex I always thought you were the conservative type. He said to his partner, who was abnormally holding a giant bag of candy in his left hand, rather effortlessly. Don't be stupid. If I were the conservative type do you think I'd actually participate in this mess? The man had a short black haircut, and looked like a fairly normal human being, sporting an all white Quincy uniform. He looked to be middle aged, and had a rather slim figure. His quincy crosses hanged from both of his ears, which came off as quite feminine. The man tossed up the giant bag in the sky effortlessly. From his point of view the entire city was within reach; Karakura Town. He could see all the innocent civilians driving to work, the children playing in parks, but none if it mattered to him. As he turned his back towards the giant bag descending upon the city. Let the fun begin. He hushed to his green skinned comrade, as the bag of candy suddenly exploded into a countless amount of spirit particles, quickly spreading around the entire city. Being visible only to the spiritually aware. The green skin male put on a wicked grin, as he followed his the man dressed in all white. Operation Orbis is underway. ... "What the fuck do you mean 'We're under attack'?" There was a pause, and the old shinigami felt his temper rise. The color of his face was slipping into a bright red, and even in his age he picked up on the huge amounts of spiritual pressure in the area; he only wished that he didn't have the job he had at the moment, because he would have been out on the battle field in an instant. His left hand moved over to his right side, grasping the handle of his zanpakutou with his gnarled appendage. "Well sir, there seems to be a group of powerful spiritual beings in the area, some of which are currently facing other captains." The young man was considerably more youthful than the one he was talking to, and dwarfed in height by the seven-footer in front of him. His black hair seemed to be windswept, and his blue eyes gazed into the darkness of the other man's pupils; neither were wearing shihakusho. He seemed to be outwardly composed, save for a clear shaking, possibly less to do with fear and more with the weight of the spiritual pressure he had felt earlier. The old man shook his head, slowly at first, before it halted to a complete stop. It was clear what was going on, but he couldn't for the life of him figure out why. He breathed the word silently, not even loud enough for his subordinate to hear, before his tone picked up to a crisp seriousness. "War." The other man looked in the eyes and nodded, unsheathing his zanpakutou with his right hand with a quick flick of his left wrist. The spotlight opened up, showing the graying hair of the larger man, long enough that it ended that his waist, and a clean full beard covering his face, which was now withered with a strange mixture of pain and acceptance; the most important part of this visual, however, was that he wore the robes generally associated with teachers of the academy, the white and blue color scheme along with the black haori-like garbing showing his position. "I had thought that I would do away with this messy battling. I suppose this is just life telling me that I should remain nothing more than a killer." He closed his eyes for a few seconds, shaking his head. "I'm sure the rest of the soul society has already started mobilizing. I can sense weaker foes in the area, near here, and the rest of the infantry will need all the help they can get. Contact the students, tell them to prepare for a real battle." Heeding the head instructor's words, the other man nodded his head, running throughout the barracks for the sake of awakening the students; while they were inexperienced, the enemy certainly weren't going to discriminate because of it. It was time for the real fight to test these fresh shinigami' will. "Wake up you wastes of space! Draw your blades! We're under attack!" Meanwhile, the news of attacks had already taken the seireitei by storm, and there were several scout shinigami mobilized to alert the divisions. This was a pressing issue, and despite the element of surprise the enemy had at first, it was very hard to ignore the influx of spiritual pressure that didn't quite 'fit'. That, and the many explosions and severe structural damage the many buildings in the area were incurring. Not even the noble families were spared the ability to simply ignore the matter, and even they began to act, as well as come under attack. "Fourth divison...must get there. It is only fair that such a thing would-" This particular scout was cut off, stopping in his tracks as a few men stood in his path. While it didn't seem like these people had even bothered to enter the fourth divison barracks, it was quite clear that they didn't intend to let those that resided inside out, either, the entire place surrounded in a mysterious barrier. The scout blinked, backing up; it was fortunate that these men had not yet noticed him. A sword emerged from his stomach, leaving him no choice but to instinctively grab the blade with his bare hands, his eyes set directly on the blood-soaked tool. "I..." He knew what happened. Not only had the blade pierced his stomach, but it also cut into a lung, blood filling his mouth and escaping from between his lips. He had failed both himself and his allies, failing to even deliver a single, very simple message. His life would end with him dying in a war without actually contributing in the slightest. No, actually, it wouldn't. He had been muttering under his breath, but soon the effects of his technique were taking motion. His body convulsed violently, even more blood leaking from his mouth as he began to make the change; his body, through careful reiryoku manipulation, was being turned into a bomb right before his attacker's eyes, who had simply assumed that this was merely the scout's death throes. He exploded, at the very least taking out his assassin and a few of the men standing guard; he wasn't going to die pointlessly, and this event would make him remembered as a brave soldier. His family was certainly proud. As for the rest of the scouts, the message for each division to mobilize it's troops was set in motion, albeit with many situations where quite a few scouts died before their message was delivered. "I like that you lot decided you can just set up camp here, killing one of our many men." Though the man had arrived far too late to save the three scouts attempting to deliver the call to arms to the fourth division, it was clear that he would, by himself, be able to liberate the key base of operations. The guard's that had proven so fatal to the other shinigami that had arrived were on their knees, kneeling before the power that the captain commanded. The captain's brown hair was tied into a simple pony tail, which, judging by it's length, suggested that if it were untied, it would come down to his shoulders. His hazel eyes looked down upon the group of five that were gathered before him, all of which seeming to belong to several very different factions of the world. He had two humans, two quincy, and, oddly enough, a single arrancar. He shook his head, and the tan-skinned male seemed to appear in each of his captive's eyes. The pressure on them lifted, and the lone female of the group, an arrancar, stood up with several curses. "Why...why the did you let us up? You could have easily killed us while we were under your pressure..?" The captain shook his head, then straightened his garb with his free hand. Under closer inspection, it seemed he wore the the traditional shinigami uniform with a few changes; his sleeves are cut off so his bare arms can be seen. The bottom of his uniform is ripped all around the edges of it. He seemed to also wear black gloves on his hands. He wasn't winning any fashion contests, clearly, but this seemed good enough. "Get up and draw your weapons. I don't take any sort of pleasure in striking down children without giving them the chance to defend themselves." "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck! What the fuck! Why the fuck! This suuuuuucks!" A slew of other curse words escaped the blonde females lips as she ran around the inside of the medical divison barracks. The entire area that fell under the fourth division domain was encased by a huge barrier that appeared seemingly out of nowhere, and, no matter what the lieutenant tried, she couldn't get in contact with her captain, who she believe locked himself away in the captain's quarters; certainly, it was being guarded by a powerful bakudo. She continued to hammer away at the door with her fists for just a little bit longer, but she soon began to realize that she just wasn't going to be able to get through, no matter how much effort she put into it. So, turning her back to it all, she headed for the area where all the little upstarts in the division were. Meanwhile, a few unwanted guests were making their way into the area, swords and other types of bladed weaponry drawn as they set their sites on their targets, These weren't few in number, either, as it seemed an entire attack force was assembled for this very mission, armed to the teeth in all sorts of vicious-looking beings. This same situation was happening to all the divisions as well, and the threat was clearly universal. The party had started, and maybe it was time time certain sleepyheads got their weapons and got moving. OOC
